As if the Chicago Bulls don\u2019t have enough problems after losing home-court advantage against Miami, they now have to deal with another issue \u2013 the return to the lineup of Heat forward Udonis Haslem. Haslem missed the final 69 games of the regular season with an injured foot and had seen limited playoff time until Game 2, when he was sugar in the Bulls\u2019 offensive gas tank \u2013 defending, blocking shots, deflecting passes, disrupting passing lanes. <\/p>\n

Haslem finished with 13 points and 5 rebounds in Miami\u2019s game 2 victory \u2013 and don\u2019t forget that on a team with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, it\u2019s hard for teammates to fill up the stat sheet.<\/p>\n

Dealing with another solid rotation player is complicated enough for the Bulls. But Chicago is still trying to find smelling salts to wake up Carlos Boozer, whose continued ineffectiveness forces Derrick Rose to bear an even bigger burden of the scoring load. Rose is doing his part (although he struggled a bit in Game 2), but the Bulls never seem to know what they\u2019re going to get from Boozer. <\/p>\n

After shooting .510 from the field in the regular season, Boozer\u2019s shooting percentage in the playoffs has fallen to .439. Chicago got nearly 18 points a game from him before the playoffs started, and only 11.6 since. He was 3 from 10 (7 points) in Game 2. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

With home-court edge down the toilet, the Bulls now have to stiffen their spines and win a game in Miami. Easier said than done against a Miami defense that has started to figure things out and seems to be able to push a button and go into lockdown mode late in the fourth period. <\/p>\n

They put Boston to sleep with a 16-0 late-fourth-quarter run in the Game 5 clincher of that series, and held the Bulls to 10 points total in the final period of Game 2.<\/p>\n

BEST BET<\/strong>: Is Rose wearing down? It\u2019s only one game, but the MVP was squeezed into a 7-for-23 shooting night (no 3-pointers) in Game 2, and the Bulls were a minus-12 when he was on the court. <\/p>\n

Miami\u2019s defense looks to be peaking. Heat -4.5 is the play.<\/p>\n
