The Wings finally pulled it all together in Game 4 but did so without Pavel Datsyuk, Tomas Holmstrom or Johan Franzen appearing on the score sheet. The San Jose players know that they have not seen the best Wings team yet in the series and are wary ahead of Game 5.<\/p>\n<p>Detroit has arguably been the better team in the last two games but has come away with a disappointing split. They have garnered 81 shots in the last two converting on seven of those chances. Offensively things are looking up for Game 5 \u2013 except for Holmstrom and Franzen who have yet to score in the series.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s face it; Jimmy Howard is not a spectacular keeper. But he is solid and with a little help from his team can look a bit better than he is. Howard isn\u2019t losing any games for Detroit but he is not winning any for them either.<\/p>\n<p>The San Jose Sharks have proven a few times in the playoffs that they are capable of the huge comeback rally. Unfortunately in Game 4 their rally fell a little short. They have been outplayed in recent outings and despite a 6-1 record in their last seven games against Detroit in the playoffs; they are now faced with a newly confident bunch of Wings!<\/p>\n<p>San Jose keeps finding new heroes every night in the playoffs. Ryan Clowe was the Stud in Game 4 with three assists to continue a break out playoff campaign for him. Sure he\u2019s has a lot of action in the last two games but he just doesn\u2019t seem as trustworthy as he should playing on a team with a 3-1 series lead. It appears as though the traffic that Detroit has finally achieved in front of him is making a huge difference.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NHL Betting Trends:<\/strong><br \/>\nOver is 11-2 in DET last 13 vs. Western Conference.<br \/>\nOver is 8-2 in DET last 10 overall.<br \/>\nOver is 6-2 in DET last 8 vs. Pacific.<br \/>\nSJ are 10-2 in their last 12 vs. Central.<br \/>\nSJ are 34-13 in their last 47 overall.<br \/>\nOver is 15-6-2 in SJ last 23 overall.<br \/>\nOver is 9-4 in the last 13 meetings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Betting Prediction:<\/strong> The Detroit Red Wings are a veteran team that exudes professionalism \u2013 they are not done yet! Truth be told, we haven\u2019t seen the best Red Wings team yet in this series but they have been getting a little better every game.
