After an emotion win against their most hated rivals who could blame them? Vancouver fans hope that the professionalism that this team has shown throughout the season allows them to be prepared for what is a notoriously tough Nashville team.<\/p>\n<p>Nashville brings a balanced offensive attack to Vancouver in Game 1 and got some good news along the way \u2013 Martin Erat will suit up on Tuesday. I\u2019d love to write about a dynamic offense and the cast of characters in it but it\u2019s easier to say that everyone on Nashville will show up, play a sound game and capitalize on any mistake the Vancouver makes!<\/p>\n<p>The problem with Nashville going into Game 1 is the play of Pekka Rinne. He appeared to have lost his confidence against Anaheim \u2013 his goals against inn that series was 3.67! Ouch! He has hardly been inspiring for Nashville fans, that\u2019s for sure.<\/p>\n<p>The Vancouver Canucks are on a role \u2013 a slump in Games 4, 5 and 6 of the Chicago series appear to be a thing of the past. They are back to their physical, fast brand of hockey \u2013 not a good sign for the Nashville Predators. Vancouver has looked terrific offensively in the last two games and we all saw what Roberto Luongo did in Game 7.  <iframe allowtransparency='true' src='http:\/\/ff.connextra.com\/Bodog\/selector\/client?client=Bodog&#038;placement=Ext_RS_Sports_250x250&#038;cxt_aff_id=151627&#038;tclk=http:\/\/www.bodog.eu\/welcome\/151627\/' class=\"alignleft\" style=\"margin: 1px; border: 3px solid #FFFFFF;\" width='250' height='250' scrolling='no' frameborder='0' style='border-width:0'><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p>Vancouver didn\u2019t generate much offense against Nashville this season at all \u2013 Pekka Rinne held them to 1.26 goals per game and shut the Canucks out twice. But with the way that Vancouver looks offensively and the way that Pekka Rinne has looked \u2013 advantage Vancouver!<\/p>\n<p>Roberto Luongo must be happy to be past the Hawks and onto an offense that isn\u2019t half as dangerous as Chicago. Lou gave up under two goals per game against Nashville this season and had a .929 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NHL Betting Trends:<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder is 7-1-1 in NAS last 9 vs. Northwest.<br \/>\nUnder is 10-3-4 in NAS last 17 road games.<br \/>\nUnder is 6-2 in NAS last 8 Thu. games.<br \/>\nUnder is 7-1-1 in VAN last 9 Thu. games.<br \/>\nUnder is 6-1-1 in VAN last 8 home games.<br \/>\nUnder is 12-3-2 in VAN last 17 overall.<br \/>\nUnder is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings in Vancouver.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Betting Prediction:<\/strong> Vancouver could suffer a little bit of a letdown on Thursday but I think the opposite will happen. The Canucks learned a lot from the Chicago series \u2013 don\u2019t take anything for granted! Vancouver is by far the superior team in Game 1 and should roll.<\/p>\n<p>The Under might be a play here too. The Under is 10-3-1 in Nashville\u2019s last 14 road games, is 6-1-1 in Vancouver\u2019s last eight home games and is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings between the two clubs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pick: Vancouver Canucks and the Under<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hey!
