The Celtics have strung together two straight wins, including a 99-82 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. Boston is also gaining some momentum against the spread, going 3-1 in its past three games on NBA odds. The Celtics covered as 5.5-point favorites against Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

The Celtics endured a rather rough stretch over the past few weeks. From March 9 to March 28, Boston was just 5-7 straight up and 4-8 against the spread. The struggles were largely tied to a regressing offense, which has show signs of life recently. Boston is averaging over 102 points over its past three victories, and Rajon Rondo has been a major reason for the turnaround. During an eight-game stretch in March, the point guard averaged just 5.7 points and 7.3 assists per game. In his last five outings, however, Rondo is up to 15.4 points and 10.8 assists per game. \"Online<\/p>\n

Washington (21-57, 30-48 ATS) was on a roll before Wednesday\u2019s 136-112 blowout loss to the Indiana Pacers. The Wizards carried a three-game winning streak into Indiana. Even with the loss, though, Washington is a respectable 4-2 in its past six games. The club is also enjoying a 4-2 run against the spread.<\/p>\n

Andray Blatche is absolutely on fire right now, and he\u2019s the biggest reason for Washington\u2019s turnaround. The big man has been a monster over his past four games, averaging 27.5 points and 14.0 rebounds per game. Blatche has scored at least 23 points and grabbed at least 10 boards in all four games.<\/p>\n

The Wizards have put together a decent run, but all their wins came against non-playoff teams. Boston has its sights focused on the postseason, and it should have little trouble wiping the floor with Washington.<\/p>\n
