After taking the night off Monday, NBA odds are back in full force on Tuesday. The San Antonio Spurs pay a visit to the Atlanta Hawks.<\/p>\n

San Antonio (58-19, 42-33-2 ATS) has faded down the stretch. The Spurs recently endured a six-game losing streak, but they got back on track Sunday with a 114-97 win over the Phoenix Suns. The win ended a four-game losing streak against the spread.<\/p>\n

Starters have been injured or rested lately, partly leading to the Spurs\u2019 mini-meltdown. Although the big boys are back, San Antonio\u2019s veteran leaders asked the bench players to step up. They did against Phoenix, as Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker combined for just 21 points. In the meantime, George Hill racked up 29 points, Matt Bonner scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Gary Neal added 15 points. Richard Jefferson was the only starter to record double figures in scoring (he finished with 12 points). \"Online<\/p>\n

Atlanta (44-33, 37-40 ATS) was riding a four-game winning streak before Sunday\u2019s 114-109 loss to the Houston Rockets. Even with the loss, the Hawks are still taking care of NBA betting fans\u2014they\u2019ve won six consecutive games against the spread.<\/p>\n

The winning streak was achieved with some impressive defense. During the four-game roll, Atlanta didn\u2019t allow a single opponent to surpass 90 points, allowing just 83.7 per game. It came undone against the red-hot Rockets, who shot a whopping 57.3 percent from the field on Sunday.<\/p>\n

If there\u2019s a positive sign, it\u2019s that Atlanta\u2019s offense got moving. The Hawks were averaging just 91.8 points over their past six games, but they shot 53.1 percent against Houston and racked up 109 points. Josh Smith bounced back from a brutal six-point game to rack up 25 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists against Houston.<\/p>\n

The Hawks may be surging, but it\u2019s about time for San Antonio to turn things up a notch. The Spurs are rested, healthy and nursing a slim lead in the Western Conference standings. They won\u2019t risk losing first place to the Lakers, so look for the club to make short work of Atlanta.<\/p>\n
