But take out Ales Hemsky, Taylor Hall, Shawn Horcoff, Ray Whitney, Sam Gagner and Kurtis Foster and all that is left is the best players that the Oilers have in the farm system \u2013 they are on the farm for a reason!<\/p>\n<p>Edmonton has lost 11 straight games \u2013 11! Jordan Eberle will represent the biggest point producer in the Oilers lineup on Saturday and he has 39 points on the season \u2013 39! Daniel Sedin has 100. Nobody is hot offensively for Edmonton and even if I did throw out a name, it is very likely that you haven\u2019t heard of them.<\/p>\n<p>You wanna talk Oilers goaltending? Nikolai Khabibulin is 0-5-1 in his last six starts with a 3.34 goals against average and Devan Dubnyk is 0-2-1 in his last three with a 3.94 goals against average. The Vancouver Canucks clinched their first ever President\u2019s Trophy on Thursday night and have a legitimate shot to be their first post expansion era team to finish with a league best in goals for, goals against, power play and penalty killing. The Canucks are solid top to bottom and are a handful for absolutely every team in the NHL.<\/p>\n<p>Offensively, nobody can slow down the Sedins \u2013 the trick is to simply limit the damage. The top line is lethal, the second line is terrific, the third line with Jannik Hansen is heating up and the fourth line is as good as the top line on the Oilers. Expect to see a lot of the role players on Saturday night \u2013 health is the prime concern for the Canucks in this contest!<\/p>\n<p>It is likely that Roberto Luongo sits on Saturday night paving the way for Corey Schneider to build on a very impressive record as of late. Schneider is 6-0-0 in his last six starts with an incredible 1.65 goals against average.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Betting Prediction<\/strong>: The Edmonton Oilers are 11-22-5 on the road this season and have lost 11 straight games overall. The Vancouver Canucks are 26-8-5 at home this season and are 12-1-0 in their last 13 games overall.<\/p>\n<p>This could be could be a classic \u201ctrap game\u201d for the Canucks \u2013 that\u2019s if the Oilers were competitive enough to challenge the Beast of the West. Vancouver will win this game easily.
