The Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners already have a win under their belt in the NCAA Tournament, but their path will get much more difficult on Friday afternoon. The Roadrunners must now face the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State is the top overall seed in the tournament, and the Buckeyes are one of the favorites this year.<\/p>\n

The Buckeyes will have a very friendly crowd, since this one is being played in the state of Ohio.<\/p>\n

Texas-San Antonio won the Southland Conference tournament and they defeated the Alabama State Hornets on Wednesday night. Alabama State finished the year below .500, so that victory didn\u2019t necessarily prove a lot moving forward. It was the Roadrunners first NCAA Tournament win, so it certainly meant a ton to their program.<\/p>\n

This team likes to push the tempo at all times, and I don\u2019t expect that to change in this one. They only shoot 43.1% from the floor, but they do get to the free throw line quite often. Devin Gibson, Melvin Johnson III, and Jeromie Hill are a nice trio of scorers for this team. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This will be a huge step up in competition for the Roadrunners.<\/p>\n

The Ohio State Buckeyes begin their journey on Friday afternoon, and much is expected of this team. Jared Sullinger is the main man in the low post for the Buckeyes. Sullinger is a great finisher around the rim, and he is an absolute beast on the glass. The Buckeyes rank third in the nation in three-point shooting percentage.<\/p>\n

Jon Diebler may be the best three-point shooter in the nation, and William Buford is a very good shooter as well. David Lighty is the glue man for this team, and he is a lockdown defender as well. Aaron Craft has done a great job at the point guard spot.<\/p>\n

Craft brings a ton of energy to the game at all times.<\/p>\n

Ohio State is a real threat to win this tournament because of their terrific balance on both sides of the floor.<\/p>\n
