Time to get up close and personal with the Wofford Terriers.\u00a0 They might not have been the favourites to represent the Southern Conference but it was not a total shock that they were able to take out rival Charleston, who they tied for the division lead this season with a 14-4 SoCon record.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

It is going to be a more significant challenge to knock off BYU who is having a Cinderella season thus far, but this team should not be taken too lightly as they shoot the 3 ball very well (40%); are experienced with 4 senior starters; and have a big time scorer in forward Noah Dahlman who might be able to match Cougar guard Jimmer Fredette, or at least stay close.\u00a0 They also handed George Mason one of only 6 losses they had on the season so they should not be intimidated in the least.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

This team was 5-2 ATS on neutral courts and will definitely have the crowd on their side if they can get off to a good start. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The BYU Cougars get a pretty good opening draw as they look to extend their record season…and they are not too far from home either.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Much has been said about the loss of one of their key inside players but for at least this first round it is all about Jimmer (as if it hasn\u2019t been all season long).\u00a0 If Fredette has the kind of game we are used in terms of scoring and distributing the Cougars should advance to the next round with ease.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

But if he struggles then this one could get very interesting because the Cougars don\u2019t have a lot of other options to exploit against Wofford who plays a similar efficient shooting style.\u00a0 BYU has not been a money winner this year unless you know exactly when to back them (14-16 ATS).\u00a0 <\/p>\n

How about this for a number:\u00a0 They are 15-0 SU and 9-3 ATS after an ATS loss, like they had in the MWC final to San Diego State.<\/p>\n
