The Florida Gators had little trouble dispatching the volatile Tennessee Volunteers yesterday. It was a total team effort too with every member of the starting lineup scoring double figures led by guard Kenny Boynton’s 22. That kind of depth and experience is what has made the Gators so good this season. <\/p>\n

They don’t always play like it but I am starting to believe that this team really does have sleeper NCAA championship possibilities and if they win out today they will probably grab a plum seed heading into the big dance. <\/p>\n

Maybe as high as a #2.<\/p>\n

With guard John Jenkings back in the lineup Vanderbilt overcame Mississippi State in quarterfinals. The smooth shooter chipped in an impressive 29 points, in his usual efficient way. Even though teams gameplan to make it difficult for him he usually still gets his. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

He is an especially tough matchup for the Gators who are short at the shooting guard position because Boynton is only 6’2″. If he can have another game like last last night than then there is every reason to think this will come down to the final few possessions. <\/p>\n

Vandy has to be in the tournament by this point but every win helps and they almost always play Florida tough.<\/p>\n
