LSU has had a terrible season and enters the SEC tournament on a 3 game losing streak, having lost 13 of their last 14 games as well. Put simply this team is bad and the program appears to be getting worse not better. It is hard to imagine they were in the Final Four in the last decade led by Big Baby Davis.<\/p>\n

This team just has an awful time putting the ball through the nets, they are 306th in the country in scoring averaging a paltry 62 points per game. Their only saving grace is that they play better than average defense.<\/p>\n

It hasn’t been enough during the season and is unlikely to be against an opponent that whipped them just a couple of weeks ago. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Vanderbilt Commodores may not have earned a first round SEC tournament bye but they couldn’t have asked for a better initial opponent than LSU. The Commodores, who are one of the most efficient teams in the country, have beaten LSU five times in a row going 4-1 ATS over that stretch.<\/p>\n

They are a high scoring, well balanced team that the Tigers will have few answers for. Exhibit A: the 21 point victory just two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

Vandy is a sleeper of a potential conference champ and is just tuning up in this one for more important games later this week and month.<\/p>\n
