Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. No. 2 Kansas Jayhawks Preview <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Oklahoma State Cowboys (19-12) may have played themselves off the bubble with a win in the first round in the first round of the Big 12 conference tournament, but can they beat the 2nd ranked Kansas Jayhawks (29-2) to make sure they make the Big Dance?<\/p>\n

In their last games OSU beat Nebraska 53-52 in the first round of the Big 12 tourney while Kansas beat Missouri 70-66.<\/p>\n

This season OSU was 12-13-1 ATS and Kansas was 15-13-1 ATS.<\/p>\n

Kansas ended the season well winning their last 5 games.<\/p>\n

Kansas will probably need one more win in order to snag a top seed in the NCAA Tournament and if they play OSU like they did a couple of weeks back they should do just that. On February 21st Kansas killed OSU 92-65 at home and in that game the Cowboys shot 42.9% from the floor and only 21.4% from beyond the 3-pt arc and if they put up those kinds of numbers again they will be toast.<\/p>\n

OSU played good defense in their win over Nebraska and in this game they have a tough task in containing the Morris twins of Markieff and Marcus, who combined to average over 30 ppg and 15 rpg this season. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Kansas was their last 5 games of the season and they are a stacked team ranking 5th in the nation in scoring, 24th in rebounds per game, and 72nd in opponents points scored per game.<\/p>\n

In the loss to Kansas earlier this season OSU leading scorer Marshall Moses (14.7) scored 27 points, but he did not get much help. In order for the Cowboys to pull off the big upset Morris will have to play well and he will need some help in the scoring department.<\/p>\n

In their win over Nebraska in the first round of the conference tournament the Cowboys only shot 40% from the floor, but they played great D and only allowed Nebraska to shoot 34% from the floor.<\/p>\n

OSU G Keiton Page was 4\/8 from beyond the 3-pt arc in the win over Nebraska and he will have to shoot the pill well again for the Cowboys to pull off the upset.<\/p>\n

The Cowboys are flying high after their first round win and while I don\u2019t think there is any way they can win their game against Kansas they will be able to cover the 14.5-point spread.<\/p>\n
