As many of you have seen my power rankings have been pretty good with predicting lines and winners in the NFL and NCAA Football season thus far. One of Craig’s Handicapping tools that he uses for each pick is his own weekly power rankings. Below is the top 10 for NBA which will change I am sure after the season gets going. <\/p>\n
1. Los Angeles Lakers<\/strong>– Kobe, Bynum, and Gasol too much for rest of the league!<\/p>\n 2. Boston Celtics<\/strong>– Can’t put the champs any lower than #2!<\/p>\n 3. Houston Rockets<\/strong>– Just need to stay healthy and keep playing defense!<\/p>\n 4. New Orleans Hornets<\/strong>– Chris Paul is my favorite for MVP this year!<\/p>\n 5. San Antonio Spurs<\/strong>– Early season might have trouble without Ginobli but will be there at end of season like always.<\/p>\n 6. Utah Jazz<\/strong>– Several key players in contract year usually means better and harding playing!<\/p>\n 7. Detroit Pistons<\/strong>– Think they will struggle this year but have to respect there history over last 6 years.<\/p>\n 8. Cleveland Cavaliers<\/strong>– Lebron do we need to say anything else (one man show).<\/p>\n 9. Dallas Mavericks<\/strong>– Jason Kidd will take this team further this year!<\/p>\n 10. Orlando Magic<\/strong>– Man Child I mean Dwight Howard will carry this team.<\/p>\n This list will of course change as season progresses but have to create a starting power ranking to help handicapp early season lines.
