Well the Utah State Aggies are doing it again, blitzing through the WAC while putting up a very shiny won-loss record. \u00a0They have lost only three times on the season including only once in the conference – a shocker at Idaho last month. \u00a0They have 26 victories to their credit but their best game might have been their loss to instate rival BYU. \u00a0<\/p>\n

They lost by only 6 points while holding Jimmer Fredette to a scant 26 points. \u00a0Not a lot of WAC games make it to mainstream TV but the one time I did see these guys was in the bracket buster where they beat a St. Mary’s team some think is pretty good; and they beat them on the road by dominating in the second half which impressed the heck out of me. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

New Mexico State is not a great team but they play well at their own place (11-4 SU and 7-3-2 ATS). \u00a0They are currently in third place in the WAC which won’t get them much of a sniff for the postseason but they can make their season by beating the Aggies in this spot. \u00a0The Aggies are led by forward Troy Gillenwater who scores just under 20ppg and leads the team in rebounding. \u00a0<\/p>\n

The battle between him and Utah State forward Tai Wesley is as good as it gets in the WAC. \u00a0When they faced off in January Gillenwater had the slightly better numbers but Wesley led his team to victory.<\/p>\n
