There\u2019s a lot to play for this Saturday in the wide, wonderful and diverse world of college basketball. The Pac-10 will take shape in L.A., here’s a key Pac 10 Saturday preview:<\/p>\n

On a larger level, this season has been a complete triumph for the Arizona program. Coach Sean Miller came from Xavier to rebuild Lute Olson’s crumbling dynasty, and in two short years, he’s largely gotten the Wildcats back to a familiar place.<\/p>\n

No, Arizona isn’t a threat to make the Final Four, but the Wildcats own a two-game lead in the Pac-10 race with just four games left to play, and since two of Arizona’s last four games are at home against Oregon and Oregon State, it’s hard to see how the U of A won’t at least grab a share of the Pac-10 title. \"The<\/a><\/p>\n

The Wildcats have been very reliable at home but they have been far more vulnerable on the road. Case and point: they fell to the USC Trojans on Thursday night even though the Trojans are not in the Top 25. Truth be told, it was a bit of sandwich game for them as they had a big home win against Washington the previous weekend and were potentially looking ahead to their matchup with UCLA this weekend.<\/p>\n

The one team with a chance of splitting the Pac-10 crown with Arizona is those UCLA Bruins. They looked lost for much of December, but coach Ben Howland has rallied the troops and enabled UCLA to ride its defense to second place in the Pac.<\/p>\n

Arizona has enjoyed the superior season so far, but on this one afternoon in Los Angeles, expect UCLA to be the more desperate team. The Bruins will play with more energy and make the Pac-10 race a little more intriguing heading into the final week. Arizona knows what they have left on the schedule at home so they won\u2019t go as hard for this game as UCLA, who definitely needs to boost their resume a little bit more.<\/p>\n
