Washington State Cougars vs. Arizona Wildcats Preview <\/strong><\/p>\n

Washington State (17-8) is in 4th place in the Pac 10 and they can get off the bubble with a win over Arizona (21-4), but that will not be easy against a Wildcats\u2019 team that has not lost at home this season. NCAAB lines have Arizona as 8.5-point favorites in this game with a total of 141.5.<\/p>\n

In their last games WSU beat Cal 75-71 at home on Saturday and Arizona won their 6th straight game beating Arizona State 67-52 on the road on Sunday.<\/p>\n

These teams have been good bets on the season, as WSU is 13-9-1 ATS and Arizona is 14-8-1 ATS. WSU has covered the spread in 5 of their last 7 games at Arizona. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Washington State G Klay Thompson (20.6 ppg) is the leading scorer in the Pac 10, but he has struggled lately, as in his last 4 games he is only averaging 11.5 ppg on 35.6% shooting.<\/p>\n

Arizona did not shoot well in their 2 point win at home over WSU last month, but they won the battle of the boards and they nailed 11\/18 of their 3-point shots. Wildcats\u2019 leading scorer and rebounder Derrick Williams (19.2 ppg 8 rpg) did not shoot well in that contest, but he pulled down 19 boards. The Cougars and especially F DeAngelo Casto (11.2 ppg 6.4 rpg) has to man the boards tonight. Casto has really been a thorn in the side for the Wildcats, as in his last 3 games against Arizona he has averaged 17.3 ppg, 8.3 rpg and 2.7 blocks.<\/p>\n

The Cougars are led by their backcourt and for them to win tonight they will need a good game from Thomson and G Faisal Aden (13.6 ppg).<\/p>\n

If Williams struggles again on offense the Cougars have a legit chance for the upset since Arizona does not have one other player besides Williams averaging in double figures.<\/p>\n

Arizona is a hot team and they are a better team in the pain and while they will win this game it will be close and WSU will keep it pretty close and cover the spread.<\/p>\n
