Duke appears to be rising again after a couple of unexpected stumbles. \u00a0It was interesting to see them struggle in the first half against North Carolina but then they roared back to victory thank to guard Nolan Smith. \u00a0He just might be the best player in the nation right now even though few are talking about him that way. <\/p>\n

Not surprisingly Duke traditionally crushes Virginia and has won the last 6 in a row in the series…although they did not cover earlier this season. \u00a0Essentially it will be up to the bench to determine how whether they cover or not. \u00a0I don’t expect this one to be close. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Whenever I write about the Virginia Cavaliers I have to start by saying I don’t know why Tony Bennett left Washington State to come to Charlottesville (where his chances of real success are limited) \u00a0This is yet another mediocre Cavs squad that has struggled of late losing 4 of their last five. \u00a0<\/p>\n

They are keeping it close for the most part though which is why they have such a good ATS record. \u00a0Still Virginia is going to have a really tough time against the Blue Devils because they are very light on scorers. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Their style of play and defense stifles offense but they are going to have an amazing defensive effort to do that to Duke. \u00a0Even if Duke has an off night shooting they can still win it.<\/p>\n
