On some occasions, such as the one above with Kentucky and Vanderbilt, a contrarian kind of prediction seems warranted. Streaks have to be broken, and patterns don\u2019t continue forever.<\/p>\n

However, with all that having been said, there are times when overthinking and more layered analysis are just not necessary. This is one of those times. Missouri is a terrific team at home. When the Tigers lost to Georgetown earlier in the season, the game was played in Kansas City, not on Mizzou\u2019s home campus and Mizzou Arena. \"The<\/a><\/p>\n

The Tigers, therefore, are unbeaten in their home building this year, and with a depleted Oklahoma team coming into Columbia, Missouri, the Tigers \u2013 who are awful on the road \u2013 should definitely get healthy in the Big 12 Conference.<\/p>\n

Missouri really needs this win as they are just 4-5 in conference play and if they want to beef up their resume, they can\u2019t afford to lose games like this. Oklahoma is just 12-11 on the season.<\/p>\n

The difference for Missouri at home has been rebounding. On the road, they get outrebounded by roughly 10 boards a game. Their only road loss where they weren\u2019t outrebounded was not coincidentally their tightest loss (Texas A&M). Oklahoma is particularly bad rebounding team and that\u2019s going to be evident in this contest. The Tigers will take advantage on the boards and that \u2013 along with home court advantage should key their edge.<\/p>\n

Missouri is deeper, more talented, and definitely hungrier than Oklahoma is. They will need this win to keep building the resume for the committee whereas Oklahoma has little shot of making the tournament until they win the Big 12 tournament later after the regular season. Pick the Tigers in a game that shouldn\u2019t be close at all.<\/p>\n
