Even as the Aggies were racking up all of those early victories I wasn’t convinced A&M was very good. \u00a0As a result I was not surprised when they stumbled recently, although 2 of their 4 losses were to Texas (no shame there). \u00a0This is one of the more disciplined teams around and they are very well coached but when it comes to talent they are pretty light as compared to teams in the past. \u00a0The key for them is getting you off of your game and they are able to do that with their stingy defense but they rarely dominate because their offense can be downright ugly at times. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Colorado may have the best scoring tandem in the Big 12 in wings Corey Higgins and Alec Burks. \u00a0Between the two of them they average more than 35 ppg and they are the reason this team \u00a0should scare almost everybody on their schedule. \u00a0This year they are 12th in the nation averaging more than 81ppg and it will be interesting to see if they can get their offensive game going against the stout Aggies. \u00a0Last year Burks and Higgins both hit for 19 against A&M but it wasn’t enough to steal a victory – although they did cover. \u00a0I think they can do both this year.<\/p>\n
