It was only natural for the Cougars to have a bit of letdown after beating SDSU but they have hoppped right back on the winning train including a solid win over UNLV on the weekend. \u00a0They are back on the road again but BYU has had a lot of success against the Falcons of late so I don’ think there is much to be concerned about. \u00a0The thing that jumped out to me in looking at this one is that BYU despite only 2 SU losses has struggled against the number. \u00a0Conversely, Air Force, which is distinctly less talented has been surprising while accumulating a nice 11-6 ATS record. \u00a0FYI Jimmer Fredette hasn’t really gone off against Air Force in the past He has just as many game with 20 or more points (2) as he does under 10 (2). \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Air Force is not the most talented team around but they always put forth a maximum effort. \u00a0As a result they are usually strong on defense (63ppg) while struggling to put the ball through the basket (only 66ppg). \u00a0They also struggle rebounding the ball because they don’t have a great deal of size. \u00a0The fact that BYU is a jump shooting team plays to the Falcons style a bit but BYU efficiency will make it very hard for Air Force to keep pace. \u00a0The fact is that Air Force could play their hearts out and still not score enough points to win<\/p>\n
