The Toronto Raptors just ended a brutal losing streak. The Milwaukee Bucks will be trying to do the same Tuesday night, as the Bucks host Toronto on NBA odds.<\/p>\n

Milwaukee (19-30, 23-25-1 ATS) has lost four consecutive games, completely erasing the momentum from a recent three-game winning streak. The Bucks failed to cover in Saturday\u2019s 89-78 loss to Detroit on Saturday, dropping their record to 1-3 ATS in the past four games.<\/p>\n

The slump is quite disappointing since the return of Brandon Jennings was expected to give the club a boost. Jennings has played in five games since getting injured in mid-December, and he\u2019s been terrible. He\u2019s cracked double-digits in scoring just once in his five appearances and has made just 10 of his 39 field goal attempts. Milwaukee desperately needs its young star to find his legs\u2014and fast.<\/p>\n

But Jennings isn\u2019t the only player letting Milwaukee down. John Salmons certainly deserves a big share of the blame. Salmons signed a big contract in the offseason, but he\u2019s been hurt and ineffective all season. The swingman has played in three games since returning from injury (he missed eight games) and has been just as miserable as Jennings. Salmons has posted 10 points, seven rebounds and two assists in the past three games combined. He\u2019s made just four of his 18 field goal attempts.<\/p>\n

With two quality scorers struggling so badly, it\u2019s no surprise Milwaukee\u2019s offense has completely dried up. The team is averaging just 86.7 points during the losing streak and has failed to crack 80 points twice in the past four games.<\/p>\n

Toronto (14-37, 22-27-2 ATS) won and covered 111-100 against Minnesota on Friday, ending a horrific 13-game losing streak. The Raptors also ended a five-game slide against the spread, though they\u2019re just 2-7 ATS in their last nine outings.<\/p>\n

Friday\u2019s 111-point outburst against the Timberwolves was the first time in a while Toronto mustered any offense. In the three losses before that, the Raptors averaged just 89 points per game. Leading-scorer Andrea Bargnani was a major culprit during the offense shortage, scoring just 15, 12 and 12 points during those losses (12-51 on field goals in that span, a brutal 23 percent). He bounced back against Minnesota, racking up 30 points.<\/p>\n

Injuries have been a major issue for Toronto, and the problems continued last week. Forward Linas Kleiza (fourth on the team with 11.2 points per game) is finished for the season after finally giving in to knee problems. With forward Reggie Evans also out, Toronto\u2019s frontcourt is awfully thin right now.<\/p>\n

Neither team inspires much confidence, but Jennings and Salmons\u2014or one of them, at least\u2014is due for a major breakout. Chances are one of those guys is going to get things going. Against the punchless Raptors, it\u2019ll be more than enough.<\/p>\n
