The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will look to continue their climb in the Big East standings with a victory over the DePaul Blue Demons. Thursday\u2019s game from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont is set for 7 p.m. and it will be broadcast on ESPN.<\/p>\n

Notre Dame finds itself just two games behind Pittsburgh in the Big East standings after a huge 56-51 win over the Panthers as a 10 \u00bd-point road underdog on Jan.24. The Irish are now 17-4 straight-up on the year (9-7 against the spread) and 6-3 SU in conference play. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Ben Hansbrough and Tim Abromaitis continue to lead the way for this team. Hansbrough is averaging 16.5 points and four assists a game, while Abromaitis is averaging 14.2 points and 6.5 rebounds. Notre Dame as a team is averaging 75 points and 37 rebounds a game.<\/p>\n

DePaul has really struggled this season especially in the conference. The Blue Demons are 6-14 SU overall (9-10 ATS) and still searching for their first Big East victory against eight straight defeats. The last time they won a game was a 71-62 triumph over Florida Atlantic as a three-point home favorite on Dec.22.<\/p>\n

One of the bright spots for this team has been the play of Cleveland Melvin, who is averaging a team-high 14.5 points a game. DePaul is only averaging 69 points a game and is ranked near the bottom of the country in rebounds with an average of 32 a game.<\/p>\n
