The Minnesota Golden Gophers have had a successful year thus far, but they have to be concerned by their mounting injury problems. Indiana got a big win at home against Illinois last week and they had a great chance to beat Michigan State in East Lansing, but they lost in overtime on Sunday night. <\/p>\n

Minnesota lost point guard Al Nolen to a broken foot, and that is a severe loss for them. Devoe Joseph left the team, and they are extremely thin in the backcourt now. Blake Hoffarber has been forced into the point guard duties of late, and that really isn\u2019t his position. Hoffarber is probably the best shooter in the Big Ten, and he needs to be off the ball. Trevor Mbakwe has been terrific down low for the Golden Gophers, who have a very strong frontcourt. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Indiana Hoosiers really should have beaten Michigan State on Sunday, but this is another chance for them to beat a ranked team in a key conference match up. The Hoosiers are dealing with some major injuries as well. Maurice Creek will miss this game and Verdell Jones III is questionable. Jones is the team\u2019s second leading scorer, so they definitely need his production in the lineup. Indiana has gotten some great minutes from Jordan Hulls in recent games, and his ability to shoot the three really helps them on offense.<\/p>\n
