The Louisville Cardinals take on the Georgetown Hoyas at the Verizon Center in a Big East Monday night matchup of nationally ranked teams. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.<\/p>\n

Louisville made its presence felt in the conference by outlasting No.5 Connecticut 79-78 in double-overtime this past Saturday as a 5 \u00bd-point road underdog. The victory moved the Cardinals to 17-4 straight-up on the year and 10-7-1 against the spread. They are currently in second place in the Big East at 6-2 SU. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Preston Knowles is the team\u2019s leading scorer with an average of 15.1 points a game. Peyton Siva leads in assists with five a game and is second in scoring with 11.1 points. The Cardinals are ranked 19th<\/sup> in the country in points per game with 79.1 and pulling down an average of 36.9 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Georgetown made a statement of its own on Saturday with an impressive 69-66 victory over No.7 Villanova as a 4 \u00bd-point road underdog. This was the Hoyas fourth straight win in the Big East to take their record to 16-5 SU (13-7 ATS) and 5-4 SU in conference play.<\/p>\n

Austin Freeman is averaging a team-high 18.8 points per game, while Jason Clark and Chris Wright are each averaging over 12 points. Wright leads the team in assists with 5.6. Georgetown is averaging 76 points a game and is shooting 50.9 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from three-point range.<\/p>\n

Louisville lost by 10 points the last time they played the Hoyas on the road, but find a way to keep this game closer than the five-point spread.<\/p>\n
