The California Golden Bears have been very inconsistent this year. They have big wins over Temple and Iowa State, but they have also been beaten badly by Boston College and Stanford. UCLA is just 11-6 on the year, but they have won eight of their last ten games. You have to assume that both teams will be really fired up for this intense rivalry game. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Cal\u2019s inconsistency has primarily been on the offensive end this year. There was the dreaded first half against Notre Dame where the Golden Bears put up five points, but they have also put up 73 points per game in their last five contests. Cal likes to push the tempo, and they seem to struggle against teams that slow the game down. Turnovers have been an issue for the team in many of their losses.<\/p>\n

UCLA is a team that is improving as the season moves along, but they still have plenty more room for improvement. This team struggles from behind the three-point line, which has caused some teams to play a zone defense against them.
