Wednesday night\u2019s performance against the scorching Tampa Bay Lightning erased all of those thoughts. They defeated the Lightning 8-1 and did it largely without Sidney Crosby\u2019s help (1 assist on the night).<\/p>\n<p>The Montreal Canadiens are in a slump and have fallen to eighth place in the Eastern Conference because of it. There are three reasons why the Habs have struggled \u2013\u00a0they were on the road for an extended period, Mike Cammalleri has one point in his last four games and Carey Price is in a slump \u2013 a 0-1-1 record with a 4.14 goals against average in his last two games is just an example of his recent downturn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Betting Prediction:<\/strong> The Penguins are back to their elite selves apparently and with a newfound secondary scoring touch, they will be a difficult task for any team going forward.
