Pittsburgh<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Steelers and the Ravens are tied atop the AFC North, and this is a game the Steelers need to win. The Browns are down this year, but they always give their best effort against their rivals from Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n

The Pittsburgh offense has been around the middle of the pack this year. They have shown flashes of brilliance, but they have been inconsistent. Rashard Mendenhall is having a very good year, and the Steelers rushing game is much improved this season. Mendenhall has 1,237 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns so far this season. Ben Roethlisberger has helped the passing attack since he was reinstated, and his numbers are solid again this season. Roethlisberger has thrown 15 touchdowns and just five interceptions on the year. Mike Wallace has emerged as one of the best deep threats in the NFL. Wallace is averaging 20.2 yards per catch.<\/p>\n

The Steelers defense has been terrific this season. They are allowing just 14.9 points per game, which is the best mark in the NFL. The rushing defense is easily the best in the league, allowing just 64 yards per game. Troy Polamalu is questionable for this game, and in order for this defense to be at its best they certainly need him healthy. When they are healthy, this is the most dominate defense in the NFL. \"Sports<\/a><\/p>\n

Cleveland<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cleveland Browns beat both the Saints and the Patriots during a great stretch in the middle of the year, but the Browns have now lost three straight. They have been in every game, but they can\u2019t finish the deal.<\/p>\n

Colt McCoy is the starting quarterback for this Browns offense now, and he has done a good job most of his rookie season. Last weekend against Baltimore was his first bad performance. He appeared rattled by Baltimore\u2019s pressure and he threw three interceptions. Peyton Hillis has been the breakout star for this offense. Hillis is averaging 4.4 yards per carry, and he has racked up 1,164 yards already this year. Hillis also has 60 receptions, which is second best on the team. The Browns lack a great wide receiver to stretch the defense, which has hurt their ability to pass the football.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland defense has given up a lot of yards this year, but they have done a good job keeping their opponent out of the end zone. This team has forced a lot of turnovers and made the opposing offense settle for a field goal quite often this year. Pittsburgh put up 28 points on them in their first matchup this year, so they must improve if they are going to give their team a chance to win this week.<\/p>\n

The Pick:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cleveland\u2019s passing attack is really struggling right now and the Steelers rushing defense is terrific. I don\u2019t think the Browns will put up many points in this one. At the same time, I think an inspired effort from the Browns defense will hold the Steelers down some as well. I like the under.<\/p>\n
