The Morgan State Bears face their second straight Big East power when they tangle with the Louisville Cardinals this Monday night at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, KT. Tip off for this game is also set for 8 p.m. and it will be broadcast on ESPN Full Court as well.<\/p>\n

Morgan State, out of the MEAC, is coming off a 97-55 loss to Syracuse its last time out, in a game that had no posted line. Actually, there has been no line posted for any of the Bears\u2019 first nine games, but they are 4-5 SU on the year. They do have a 72-53 win over Western Illinois in late November and a 70-64 win over Coppin State on their resume. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Bears are led by a pair of forwards, Dewayne Jackson and Kevin Thompson, who are both averaging over 14 points per game. Thompson leads the team in rebounds with 9.7 per game.<\/p>\n

Louisville reeled off eight straight victories to start the season, but a stunning 52-46 loss to Drexel \u00a0on Dec. 14as a 14 \u00bd-point home favorite ended the streak. The Cardinals rebounded with 78-49 win over Gardner-Webb and a 114-82 victory over Western Kentucky as a nine-point road favorite their last time out. They are now 10-1 SU for the season and 6-2-1 ATS.<\/p>\n

Senior guard Preston Knowles is Louisville\u2019s leading scorer with 13.7 points per game and sophomore guard Peyton Siva leads in assists with 4.7 per game. Sophomore forward Rakeem Buckles is the Cardinals\u2019 leading rebounder with 7.6 per game.<\/p>\n

It is doubtful there will be a line set for this game as these two teams are in a completely different class. With a date with No. 14 Kentucky looming right around the corner, look for the Cardinals to use this game as a brisk practice to get ready for their in-state rivals.<\/p>\n
