Baltimore<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Baltimore Ravens are back in the thick of the AFC North race after last week\u2019s big win against New Orleans. They also benefited from the Steelers home loss against the Jets. The Ravens need this game in a big way.<\/p>\n

Ray Rice finally had the breakout game everyone has been looking for last weekend. Rice had 153 yards on the ground and 80 receiving yards as well. This Baltimore offense will be much more dangerous if Rice is a huge threat the rest of the year. Joe Flacco continues to play well in the second half of the year. Flacco has thrown 18 touchdowns and just two interceptions in the Ravens last nine games. The Ravens may have the best trio of wide receivers in the league, and the offensive line is improving as the year moves along. This offense hasn\u2019t reached its full potential yet, but the ceiling is very high.<\/p>\n

The Baltimore defense is still a pretty good unit, but they certainly aren\u2019t as dominant as they were a few years ago. The front seven is about as good as you\u2019ll find, but they are aging a bit, and they have worn down in the fourth quarter a few times this year. The secondary is definitely the weakest part of this defense. The cornerbacks tend to get beat deep quite often. This defense is solid, but not spectacular like they previously were. \"Sports<\/a><\/p>\n

Cleveland<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cleveland Browns appeared to be turning the corner a few weeks ago, but losses to Buffalo and Cincinnati in the last two weeks have this team looking for answers once again. They are 3-3 at home this year, and they would love to beat this Baltimore squad.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland offense has been inconsistent this year. Colt McCoy has done a nice job in his time as a starter, and he will start the rest of this year. He has an impressive quarterback rating of 93.0 in his rookie campaign. The problem with the Browns passing game is they haven\u2019t been hitting any passes downfield. In order to open up the short passing game and running game they need to find a deep threat. Peyton Hillis has done a terrific job at the running back spot. Hillis has 1,129 yards rushing this year. The Browns are scoring just 18 points per game, and they must improve their red zone efficiency.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland defense has given up a lot of yards this year, but they have done a nice job keeping the opposition out of the end zone. While they rank just 22nd<\/sup> in the NFL in yards allowed per game, they have only given up 19.4 points per game. The young secondary is improving as the season goes along, and the Browns have done a nice job forcing turnovers as well. This defense is far from great, but there are some signs of improvement this year.<\/p>\n

The Pick:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both teams will be fired up for this game, but this game means more to the Ravens. Baltimore must win this game, and I think they\u2019ll find a way to win. I like Baltimore to cover the spread here.<\/p>\n
