With a win, the Jaguars can take a two-game lead\u2014including the crucial head-to-head tie-breaker\u2014and all but assure themselves the title. That didn\u2019t help NFL betting fans, though, as the Titans scored a touchdown as time expired and gave Indy its third consecutive loss against the spread.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time in a long while, Peyton Manning looked right. After throwing 11 interceptions in a three-game span, Manning torched the Titans for 319 yards, two touchdowns and\u2014most importantly\u2014no interceptions. Manning was also sacked just once. Pierre Garcon, talented by wildly inconsistent, finally delivered a big game. He caught six passes for 93 yards and a pair of scores. The running game was still non-existent, though, as Indy averaged less than three yards per carry on 32 rushes.<\/p>\n<p>The defense needs some help, and there doesn\u2019t appear to be any coming. Indy has built its \u201cD\u201d on small, quick defenders for a decade now. It\u2019s always been a source of big plays, but also a liability against the run. This season is no different, as the Colts own the NFL\u2019s fourth-worst run defense at 141 yards per game. They actually did a solid job against the Titans. Chris Johnson ran for 111 yards on 22 carries, but he didn\u2019t gash the Colts on too many big plays.  <iframe allowtransparency='true' src='http:\/\/ff.connextra.com\/Bodog\/selector\/client?client=Bodog&#038;placement=Ext_RS_Sports_250x250&#038;cxt_aff_id=151627&#038;tclk=http:\/\/www.bodog.eu\/welcome\/151627\/' class=\"alignleft\" style=\"margin: 1px; border: 3px solid #FFFFFF;\" width='250' height='250' scrolling='no' frameborder='0' style='border-width:0'><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Jacksonville (8-5, 9-4 ATS) is one of the hottest teams in the NFL. The Jags have won five of their last six games, including a wild 38-31 victory over Oakland last week. The Jags improved to 6-0 ATS in their last six.<\/p>\n<p>The rushing attack is out of control. Maurice Jones-Drew has rushed for over 100 yards in six consecutive games; his backup, Rashad Jennings, has piled up 206 yards and three touchdowns in his last three games. With David Garrard more than capable of the occasional big play, the Jaguars are running a very impressive, balanced offense right now.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cD\u201d is a little hit or miss. Two weeks after shutting down the Titans, the Jaguars were lit up for 31 points by Oakland. Darren McFadden killed Jacksonville out of the backfield, racking up 209 yards from scrimmage and three total touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>The Jaguars were burned by Jason Campbell last week, so there\u2019s no doubt Manning will have his way with them. But the Colts have no hope in stopping the run, and Jacksonville might have the NFL\u2019s best rushing attack at the moment. Not only will that lead to Jacksonville points, it\u2019ll keep Manning off the field.
