\nTony Romo is expected to miss the next four games with broken pinkie. The Cowboys face St. Louis this week so Johnson is useful immediately.\u00a0Johnson should be the top free agent QB target this week.<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nHe just took down the top rated Giants Defense on Monday night football, to the tune of 310 yards and a couple TD\u2019s. If he\u2019s been dumped in your league, like he has in some of mine, scoop him up quick. Looks like him and Edwards are back on the same page. This win could jump start the good times back in Cleveland. They\u2019re not out of the AFC north yet.<\/p>\nRUNNING BACKS<\/h2>\n
\nGreen is playing second fiddle to rookie Steve Slaton right now, but the veteran looked more like himself on Sunday. Green plays vs.\u00a0\u00a0the Bengals this week. \u00a0Cincinnati gave up three touchdowns to Mewelde Moore on Sunday.<\/p>\n
\nHe had 28 carries in a Week 7 win over the Jets, but only managed 74 yards on the ground.\u00a0Fargas is clearly the #1 option for the Raiders, and deserves a roster spot in all leagues.<\/p>\n
\nIn Week 7 vs. the Steelers\u00a0Benson finished with 52 yards on 14 carries. He also caught a pass for 10 yards. \u00a0The outlook is much better this week against the Texans.\u00a0He\u2019ll have a great chance to prove he wasn\u2019t just another first round bust.<\/p>\nWIDE RECEIVERS<\/h2>\n
\nTampa Bay WR\u00a0Antonio Bryant\u00a0had six catches for 115 yards and a touchdown to lead the Bucs against Seattle on Sunday.\u00a0\u00a0The Tampa offense is clicking and with they also have a pass – favorable upcoming schedule. Check the Joey Galloway injury status though, this could cut into Bryan’ts numbers.<\/p>\n
\nMorgan caught five passes for 86 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown. He was thrown to 10 times in the game.\u00a0Now that he\u2019s fully healthy, Morgan has solidified himself as a starter in Mike Martz\u2019s pass-happy offense.\u00a0There\u2019s an excellent chance he leads the team in receiving for the remainder of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nWith Chambers out vs. The Pats, Floyd ended up catching three passes for 75 yards and a touchdown. Monitor this week\u2019s San Diego papers and if Chambers won\u2019t be ready to go, grab Floyd.<\/p>\n
\nSt. Louis rookie WR\u00a0Donnie Avery\u00a0began with a bang thanks to a 42-yard bomb he caught for a touchdown, then followed that up with four more catches to total 65 yards.\u00a0Make roster room for him now or regret it later. With Upcoming games against the Patriots and Cardinals, Avery is playable in deeper leagues right now.<\/p>\nTIGHT ENDS<\/h2>\n
\nIn week 7 vs. The Chiefs Scaife caught three passes for 48 yards, and he is the Titans No. 1 TE option. He\u00a0has posted a minimum of 48 yards or scored a touchdown in three of his last four games.\u00a0Scaife is a good play this week vs. the Colts, who give up TE fantasy points every week.<\/p>\n
\nSaints TE\u00a0Billy Miller\u00a0caught four passes for 56 yards Week 7 at Carolina.\u00a0This weeks opponent the San Diego Chargers have\u00a0allowed more fantasy points to TEs than any team in the league. \u00a0Plus early indications are that Jeremy Shockey might miss this week\u2019s game against the Chargers, due to returning from injury to quickly.\u00a0<\/p>\nD\/ST<\/h2>\n
\nThe Jets had a decent defensive performance at Oakland in Week 7, giving up 16 points on 344 yards. They recorded one sack.\u00a0The KC Chiefs travel to NY this week to play the Jets. If there’s a more pathetic offense in the NFL right now than the Chiefs I’d like to see it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
