The Giants are battling the Eagles for supremacy in the NFC East.\u00a0 They are on a two game winning streak and the way things are bunched up in the NFC there is little margin for error for them as well as a few other teams.\u00a0 A month ago many had the G-Men pegged for the Super Bowl.\u00a0 A couple of losses knocked them down a peg but now they are definitely in the conversation of the best teams in the NFC.\u00a0 One capable of making it all the way.<\/p>\n

Believe it or not the Giants are the fifth highest scoring team in the league.\u00a0 They have had some drama at RB where both Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs have started.\u00a0 All drama aside Bradshaw has over 1000 yards already and Jacobs rushed for 103 yards on just 8 carries last week.\u00a0 They have needed the running game to come through because their have been massive injuries to the receiver corps.\u00a0 Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks are probable for Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Giants have lost the last four games to Minnesota including a beatdown at the end of last season 44-7.\u00a0 You have to go ball all the way to 2004 for the last time New York beat Minnesota.\u00a0 After this week I don\u2019t think they will be saying that next year. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Minnesota<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leslie Frazier is 2-0 since taking over for Childress and the Vikings may have found their guy.\u00a0 Too bad it is too late to salvage their current season.\u00a0 Besides beating Washington and Buffalo is hardly an indicator of greatness this year.\u00a0\u00a0 If they can beat the Giants they can sustain their very limited shot at the playoffs for at least another week and force their fans to ponder a lot of what ifs.<\/p>\n

Speaking of what ifs, what if Brett Favre doesn\u2019t start at QB on Sunday?\u00a0 Will the world continue to turn?\u00a0 Tavaris Jackson was forced into action last week and he wasn\u2019t great.\u00a0 The completion percentage was there but so were three interceptions.\u00a0 Against New York his mobility would be a great asset so it wouldn\u2019t surprise me if Jackson sees a fair amount of action whether he starts the game or not.<\/p>\n

Whoever is winging it can count on a solid run game.\u00a0 Adrian Peterson is back and his backups also got in the groove last week, to the tune of 210 yards combined on the ground.\u00a0 That is still the best plan of attack for the Vikings who are hurting at receiver and one way or the other will be playing a QB with limitations.<\/p>\n

The Pick: <\/strong>I think the Frazier train has to run off the track at some point.\u00a0 Look for the Giants sack happy defense to wreak havoc on the Vikings all the way to victory.<\/p>\n
