\nCharles Oliveira (14-0): <\/strong>-140<\/p>\n

UFC veteran Jim Miller takes on slick and confident UFC up and comer at UFC 124. Miller\u2019s only two losses are against the two Lightweights that will be fighting for the belt in early 2011 \u2013 Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. Oliveira has been impressive for sure, but I think he waded a bit too deep in this fight, a bit too early in his UFC career. Pick:<\/strong> Jim Miller +110<\/p>\n

\nMac Danzig (19-8-1): <\/strong>+220<\/p>\n

Two former TUF winners will be fighting for their UFC lives this Saturday. Stevenson has fought and lost against some of the best that the UFC has to offer while Danzig has waded around and has been just OK against \u201cC level\u201d fighters. There is no denying who the better fighter in this contest is. Pick:<\/strong> Joe Stevenson -300<\/p>\n

\nJohn Howard (14-4): <\/strong>+220<\/p>\n

This is potentially Fight of the Night. Both of these men love to stand and bang! Alves will be looking to return to the elite class of the Welterweight division while John Howard will be looking to re-enter the Title picture after the first loss of his UFC career. I like Howard but Alves is too powerful, too crafty and too diverse for Howard in this one. Pick:<\/strong> Thiago Alves -300<\/p>\n

Dustin Hazelett hit a rough patch at Welterweight so he decided to move down to Lightweight where he would have a size and reach advantage. In his first bout at Lightweight he takes on a very tough Mark Bocek who has five wins in the UFC, all by rear naked choke. It is not that often that Hazelett takes on a better grappler than he, but this is one of those times. Pick:<\/strong> Mark Bocek -135 \"Sports<\/a><\/p>\n

\nSean Pierson (13-5): <\/strong>+220<\/p>\n

Sean Pierson, a late injury replacement is matched up against Matt Riddle who will be looking for his third straight win in the UFC. Riddle is a wrestler and Pierson is a dynamic striker. I like the striker and home town boy in this one. Pick:<\/strong> Sean Pierson<\/p>\n

Joe Doerksen (46-13): <\/strong>+210
\nDan Miller (12-4): <\/strong>-280<\/p>\n

Uber-experienced jiu-jitsu Black Belt Joe Doerksen takes on another jiu-jitsu ace Dan Miller in what is sure to be a grappling match. I love the experience in this one \u2013 there is absolutely nothing that Doerksen hasn`t seen. Pick the upset. Pick:<\/strong> Joe Doerksen +210<\/p>\n

T.J. Grant (16-4): <\/strong>+155
\nRicardo Almeida (12-4): <\/strong>-190<\/p>\n

TJ Grant has alternated wins and losses in the UFC yet there is a reason that he is still with the organization \u2013\u00a0he is a game fighter that goes 110 miles per hour at all times. Ricardo Almeida is jiu-jitsu Black Belt who looked anything but impressive against Matt Hughes in his last fight. Look for the relentless pace and superior striking to prevail in this one. Rafael Natal (12-3): <\/strong>-175
\nJesse Bongfeldt (21-6): <\/strong>+145<\/p>\n

Brazilian jiu-jitsu Black Belt Rafael Natal will be looking for his first UFC win against a UFC newcomer that holds wins over some very tough competition \u2013\u00a0TJ Grant and Sean Pierson to name two. Natal is a one dimensional fighter while Bongfeldt is more well rounded. I like the varied fighting style to prevail in this one. Pick:<\/strong> Jesse Bongfeldt +145<\/p>\n

GSP training partner John Makdessi makes his UFC debut against a fighter that was on a four fight win streak before running into Thiago Tavares in his last fight.
