The Spartans aren\u2019t playing their best basketball yet, but they have tons of talent and this team will be an extremely tough out in March. Draymond Green is one of the most versatile big men you\u2019ll see in the country. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Kalin Lucas is a solid leader at the point guard spot, and Durrell Summers is capable of lighting it up at any time. The Spartans are shooting 43.1% from beyond the arc, which is ninth best in the nation. Expect this team to be a force on the glass all year long as well. They need to improve their free throw shooting, which is only 64% as a team this year.<\/p>\n

The Syracuse Orange come into this game at 8-0, but they haven\u2019t played a tough schedule thus far. Jim Boeheim\u2019s team is still looking for a leader to step up and replace guys like Andy Rautins and Wesley Johnson. Syracuse struggled to beat NC State on their home court Saturday, so they\u2019ll need a much better effort if they are going to topple the Spartans. This team is shooting just 29.7% from beyond the arc, and 43% from the field overall. They have been solid on the defensive end, but the offense needs a spark.<\/p>\n

I expect Michigan State to win this game. I believe the Spartans are much more balanced team, and I don\u2019t think Syracuse can keep up with them at this point.<\/p>\n
