The Los Angeles Lakers have been struggling, but they recently ended a losing streak and will be looking to lay some punishment out on the Washington Wizards this Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Lakers (14-6, 10-10 ATS) just endured a brutal losing streak, dropping four straight games\u2014not to mention five straight losses against the spread. Both skids came to an end Friday, as Los Angeles blew out Sacramento 113-80, covering as a 13-point favorite.<\/p>\n

Finally, the offense got turned around, which helped easily put away the Kings. The Lakers have the league\u2019s second-highest scoring offense, but they averaged just 95.7 points per game during the slide. \"Online<\/p>\n

On Friday, the Lakers got a nice boost from a pair of second-round rookies\u2014Devin Ebanks and Derrick Caracter. They combined to go 9-12 from the field, with Caracter scoring 10 points and Ebanks chipping in nine. As if Los Angeles needed any more weapons.<\/p>\n

Pau Gasol continued his odd slump, however. The big man has scored 16 or fewer points in five of his past six games. Poor shooting has been the biggest issue, though he was 6-8 in the win over Sacramento. Kobe Bryant scored 22 against the Kings.<\/p>\n

Washington (6-13, 8-11 ATS) has lost five of its past six games, including a 125-108 blowout at the hands of Phoenix on Sunday. The Wizards have been OK against the spread, though, going 3-2 ATS in their last five games.<\/p>\n

The Lakers will be a tough mismatch for Washington, which has the 25th<\/sup>-rated defense in the NBA. The team has surrendered at least 100 points in seven of its past eight games, allowing an average of 110 .1 points per game in that span.<\/p>\n

That starting lineup was mostly awful against Phoenix. Andray Blatche and Jon Wall both scored in double figures, but the other three starters combined for just 12 points. Most of the team\u2019s scoring came off the bench.<\/p>\n

The Lakers are ready to start back on the upswing. This should be the perfect game for Gasol to get untracked; even if he doesn\u2019t, L.A. has plenty of other weapons to take advantage of. To make matters worse, Washington is 0-10 on the road, including 3-7 ATS. Take the Lakers in a romp.<\/p>\n
