Week 13 Fantasy Start and Sit \u2013 Fantasy Matchups<\/strong><\/h2>\n

FANTASY GURUS – READY TO BET ON NFL WEEK 13? WE’VE GOT YOUR PICKS —–><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Week 13 starts Thursday night with what promises to be an offensive explosion. There are a few games that promise to be high scoring this week and some unheralded players that should perform well for your Fantasy squads.<\/p>\n

Below is a rundown of every game and who is startable for Fantasy in every matchup. Study hard and good luck in Week 13.<\/p>\n

Houston at Philadelphia 8:20 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

This game should feature a lot of points. For Houston, don\u2019t hesitate to start Matt Schaub, Arian Foster or Andre Johnson this week \u2013\u00a0they will be good. Joel Dreessen is a good tight end play as well. For the Eagles, it should be a field day against one of the worst defense in the NFL. Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson are automatic this week \u2013\u00a0they could be the top plays at their positions. LeSean McCoy is a fine start as well as Jeremy Maclin. I am not too impressed with Brent Celek lately but in a high scoring game, he\u2019s worth a look as well.<\/p>\n

New Orleans at Cincinnati 1:00 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

Cincinnati is plain terrible making Drew Brees and Marques Colston obvious starts. Robert Meachem has emerged and is a good WR3 this week as well. The running game still scares me but if forced to pick one of the slew, I would go with Chris Ivory. Tight end Jimmy Graham is a decent play as well. For Cincinnati, it is tough to like anyone right now. Carson Palmer is a risk and so are his wide receivers. But if necessary, I would roll with Ochocinco over Owens this week and I would start Palmer and Terrell Owens only if necessary. Tight end Jordan Shipley has proven to be a reliable Fantasy producer as well.<\/p>\n

Chicago at Detroit 1:00 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

You have to roll with a hot Jay Cutler and Johnny Knox this week. Matt Forte has been better and is worthy of a start as well. Greg Olsen should score and Earl Bennett could be a play in PPR Leagues. Obviously start the Bears defense. For Detroit, the only player I trust is Calvin Johnson. The others have either come down to earth or are a risky play against a great Bears defense.<\/p>\n

San Francisco at Green Bay 1:00 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

Frank Gore, the only reliable Fantasy source is out for the season. I don\u2019t trust his replacement Brian Westbrook just yet. The only 49er that I would consider is Michael Crabtree against a good Packers defense. For Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers is obvious as is Greg Jennings. James Jones has emerged as a solid WR3 and could be used as a WR2 in a pinch. Brandon Jackson may be OK, but I would look elsewhere if possible.<\/p>\n

Jacksonville at Tennessee 1:00 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

David Gerrard has come back down to earth after a stretch of amazing games. If you have to start him, I am truly sorry. Maurice Jones-Drew has 4 – 100+ yards games in a row and I like him to continue the streak this weekend. The only other Jag that I would consider is Marcedes Lewis. For Tennessee, Kerry Collins should start \u2013 wait and see on him. Chris Johnson will be huge in this game, arguably a Top 5 play this week. If I had to choose a receiver, it would be Nate Washington.<\/p>\n

Denver at Kansas City 1:00 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t be scared of Kyle Orton or Bandon Lloyd this week \u2013\u00a0they absolutely torched the Chiefs on Nov 14. I think that Knowshon Moreno is a decent play here as well. Everyone else is a risk on this roster. For KC, Matt Cassel is actually a borderline QB1 this week. If you have to start him, feel no shame. Jamaal Charles and Dwayne Bowe are obvious starts and Thomas Jones could be a low end flex. You could do worse than Tony Moeaki at tight end as well.<\/p>\n

Cleveland at Miami 1:00 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

Peyton Hillis is the man here \u2013\u00a0 the only starter on the Browns \u2013\u00a0period! Chad Henne threw for over 300 yards last week and could be OK again this week. Brandon Marshall may be out again this week making both Davone Bess and Brian Hartline OK but not great plays. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Buffalo at Minnesota 1:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ryan Fitzpatrick and Steve Johnson have quite chemistry right now. Fitzpatrick is just an OK start but Johnson is a solid WR2 right now. Fred Jackson is the only game in town as far as Bills RBs go and is worth consideration based on the number of touches that he will get. For Minnesota, sit Favre and keep tabs on Adrian Peterson\u2019s foot injury. If he plays, start for sure. The only other Vikings that I would consider are Percy Harvin (WR3) and maybe Visanthe Shiancoe. They are fringe starters with upside in my eyes.<\/p>\n

Washington at NY Giants 1:00 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ugh \u2013\u00a0pretty hard to like anyone on the Redskins roster. Donovan McNabb is risky but worth considering based on the fact that he is going to have to throw a ton. I would stay away from everyone else on the roster except for Chris Cooley. Santana Moss and Anthony Armstrong could be started but only if you are a gambler. For the G-Men, Eli Manning should be OK for you this week. Mario Manningham and Kevin Boss are also fine starters. The other two receivers are untrustworthy and I have no idea what to make of the Giants running game. Start the Giants defense as always.<\/p>\n

Oakland at San Diego 4:05 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

Oakland has been brutal the last few weeks.\u00a0 I trust nobody on the roster but if I had to choose 1 player, it would be Jacoby Ford \u2013 but he is still a WR4 in my books. For San Diego, Philip Rivers, Malcolm Floyd and Legadu Naanee are all sure fire starters this week as is Antonio Gates (if he plays). Mike Tolbert has emerged as a reliable Fantasy back as well \u2013 start. As always, start the Chargers defense as well.<\/p>\n

Dallas at Indianapolis 4:15 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

Marion Barber will sit this game out which means that both Felix Jones and Tashard Choice are both sneaky flex plays this week. Jon Kitna should be OK as well. Expect a bounce back game from Dez Bryant. He is a good start along with Mikes Austin and Jason Whitten. For the Colts, expect Peyton Manning to be huge this week along with Reggie Wayne. Jacob Tamme has become a weekly start and Blair White and Pierre Garcon could be used as flex players \u2013 there will likely be enough passing yards to go around for the Colts. I would steer clear of the Indianapolis running game until further notice however.<\/p>\n

St. Louis at Arizona 4:15 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

Sam Bradford could do some damage for sure this week. He is definitely a serviceable QB2 this week. There\u2019s no shame in starting him and Steven Jackson who will likely break his slump this week. Danny Alexander and Danario Alexander are both WR3 plays especially in PPR leagues this week. For Arizona, there is not much to like. You will likely have to roll with Larry Fitzgerald \u2013\u00a0 he should be good but not great this week. If you are a gambler, Steve Breaston may be OK in PPR leagues as well. That\u2019s about it for the Cards.<\/p>\n

Carolina at Seattle 4:15 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Carolina running back duo of Mike Goodsen and Jonathan Stewart are the only Panthers worth using this week. They are both low end flex players however. For Seattle, the only reliable starter is Ben Obomanu.<\/p>\n

Atlanta at Tampa Bay 4:15 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

Atlanta should roll in this game. Keep Matt Ryan active along with the Hot Michael Turner, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez. For Tampa Bay, Mike Williams is the only player that is a Green Light. Josh Freeman and Kellen Winslow may be OK but I wouldn\u2019t trust them.<\/p>\n

Pittsburgh at Baltimore 8:20 PM <\/strong><\/p>\n

The way to beat Baltimore is through the air, meaning that Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Wallace are good starts. Rashard Mendenhall is a start this week but temper your expectations a bit against a stout Baltimore run defense. Hines Ward looks to be back to form and warrants WR3 consideration as well. For Baltimore, don\u2019t be scared of the passing game. Joe Flacco should get his numbers this week along with Anquan Boldin, Derrick Mason and Todd Heap \u2013\u00a0 no shame in starting either of these players. Ray Rice will likely have to start for you but like Mendenhall, temper your expectations just a little bit. Both defenses are good plays as always.<\/p>\n

NY Jets at New England 8:30 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark Sanchez has been hot and in a shootout, he should be fine. Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes are also good starts, Holmes being the better of the two. I am a little leery of the Jets running game right now, but start LaDainian Tomlinson as a RB2 this week. Dustin Keller is an OK tight end option as well. For New England, never bench Tom Brady. He should be able to hit Wes Welker and Aaron Hernandez for scores in this one. The running game is a risk \u2013 BenJarvus Green-Ellis has been Hot and probably deserves a start based on his recent production. Just don\u2019t expect a huge game from the Patriots rushing attack. Start the Jets defense but temper your expectations.<\/p>\n
