However, if you include their playoff series last year, San Jose has actually won five of its last six meetings with Detroit. They\u2019ve won seven of 10 and beaten some of the league\u2019s hottest teams over that span, including Columbus (twice) and Phoenix. Depth is once again key to their success. They\u2019re the second highest scoring team in the league but have no player with more than 10 goals; seven Wings have at least five goals, however.<\/p>\n<p>The Sharks haven\u2019t been bad by any means but they haven\u2019t dominated the regular season as we\u2019ve seen them do so often over the last decade. They\u2019re allowing more goals than they usually do and their Big Three \u2013 Joe Thornton, Dany Heatley and Patrick Marleau \u2013 have been good but not great,<\/p>\n<p>San Jose doesn\u2019t enter tonight\u2019s game with a ton of momentum. The Sharks have lost four of six and one of their wins over that span was over lowly Edmonton. They also got embarrassed 6-1 against Vancouver on Friday.
