Our man The Wiesguy has been deep in study and will provide his take and 2010\u00a0College Football Predictions<\/strong><\/a> all season long for the 2010\/11 college football betting season.<\/p>\n CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR EXPERTS WEEKLY COLLEGE FOOTBALL PREDICTIONS —–><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n College Football Line Preview:\u00a0 Championship Week<\/strong><\/p>\n I guess in the future there are going to be fewer and fewer regular season finales this week.\u00a0 Sure it will give more heft to Championship Week but it is kind of nice when these regular season rivalries play out on the last week before the bowls.\u00a0 Lots of interesting games this week but the focus has to be on the SEC and the state of Oregon this week.\u00a0 It looks like the Ducks may punch their ticket for the Big Game unchallenged but I wouldn\u2019t count out the Beavers from an ATS perspective.\u00a0 Meanwhile the Georgia Dome will be the place where assumptions are confirmed (Auburn beats South Carolina, again) or all hell breaks loose (Tigers lose and TCU gets it shot).\u00a0 I wonder how many cameras are going to be pointed at Forth Worth a la Selection Sunday.\u00a0 Upsets seem unlikely but all we have to do is rewind to Boise State-Nevada to see what is possible.<\/p>\n Arizona State vs. Arizona (-6) – <\/strong>Sadly for Wildcats fans a season of promise is ending on a sour note.\u00a0 How sour will depend on whether they can rally a sufficient effort to beat the Sun Devils.\u00a0 One piece of motivation may be keeping them in Tempe for the holidays as they are still a win short of bowl eligibility.\u00a0 Arizona has won the last two contests which is only going to have ASU that much more fired up for this spotlight game on Thursday night.\u00a0 I think the Wildcats are going to remind the public why they were so highly thought of earlier in the season.\u00a0 Play on Arizona.<\/p>\n SMU vs. Central Florida (-9) – <\/strong>UCF is no surprise here but I am willing to bet they thought they would be playing a different team from Texas if you asked them at the beginning of the year.\u00a0 The two teams kickoff Championship Saturday and present an interesting contrast in styles.\u00a0 UCF has never lost to SMU winning in 2007 and 2008 and with the line at -9 the oddsmakers are not expecting a close contest, neither am I.\u00a0 UCF has a very strong defense and their offense caught fire at the midway point of the season.\u00a0 Too much for the Mustangs to overcome.<\/p>\n Oregon vs. Oregon State (+15) – <\/strong>Time for the Civil War and the stakes have never been higher.\u00a0 Sure Oregon should cruise but I have a hunch that the Beavers are not nearly as bad as they have been playing this season and might put a scare in the Ducks for at least a little bit.\u00a0 the hard part with Oregon is that they are just so fast that any mistake and their gone.\u00a0 The Beavers have some serious revenge after a couple of losses to the Ducks prevented them from going to the Rose Bowl.\u00a0 Now they have a chance to send Oregon there instead of to the national championship game.\u00a0 That extra juice makes me want to lean to OSU but I think I am going to wait and see what the number is at game time. Auburn vs. South Carolina (+5) <\/strong>Hopefully the Tigers are not going to have a letdown after their monumental comeback against Alabama.\u00a0 The Gamecocks were sharp against Clemson last week and are looking to avenge an earlier loss to Auburn.\u00a0 In that game the couldn\u2019t slow down Cam Newton who rushed for 176 yards with three TDs.\u00a0 If he they do not have an answer for this time they will lose again.\u00a0 Auburn has had many close calls this season which is the only reason I have not jumped on this line yet.\u00a0 They have a pair of 3 point victories in addition to last week\u2019s 1 pointer.\u00a0 They don\u2019t always clobber opponents but always win so be wary.<\/p>\n Florida State vs. Virginia Tech (-4) – <\/strong>The Noles were impressive in beating the Gators last week but they are playing here because NC State couldn\u2019t get it done.\u00a0 Now they get to face one of the hottest teams in the country.\u00a0 Still FSU has only lost once to Va Tech in nine tries, that was in 2008, but most of those games were at the height of Seminole dominance.\u00a0 The key is going to be defense.\u00a0 VT has one of the better ground attacks in the country.\u00a0 If FSU can slow it down and make Tyrod Taylor beat them then this will be a very good game.\u00a0 My gut says back the Hokies.<\/p>\n Nebraska vs. Oklahoma (-4) <\/strong>That game last week truly was Bedlam.\u00a0 I feel sorry for the Cowboys, they just can\u2019s beat their big brother when it matters most.\u00a0 For this one you have to like the Sooners.\u00a0 Their offense is humming smoothly right now and they can also tack on some revenge for a loss to Nebraska last year and their rival leaving the conference.\u00a0 After starting strong the NU offense has been sputtering and I think it will be hard to keep up with and Oklahoma attack that just keeps coming at you.\u00a0 You might want to bet this one now if you are on the Sooners.\u00a0 I think the number will rise throughout the week.<\/p>\n USC vs. UCLA (+8) <\/strong>As a Trojan fan I was very disappointed to see the end of last week\u2019s game against ND.\u00a0 As the spread indicates few think that they are going to lose a second rivalry game in a row just down the road…especially against a Bruin team with little to play for.\u00a0 QB Matt Barkley is questionable for this one.\u00a0 If he plays then the Trojans should be good up to 10 points without him a 7 spot seems more than fair.\u00a0 We will have to watch this during the week.\u00a0 Its the last game of the day on Saturday so there is plenty of time.<\/p>\n 1.
