The Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks meet on NBA odds this Saturday, and they\u2019re perfect examples of how quickly things can change on the hardwood. After starting the season with a healthy unbeaten streak, the Hawks are crumbling. New York, meanwhile, is finally gelling and piling up the victories.<\/p>\n

The Hawks (9-7, 6-10 ATS) are sliding. They beat Washington 116-96 on Thursday, just their third win in 10 games. They\u2019re also suffering through a 2-6 run against the spread.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s getting harder and harder to not point fingers at Jamal Crawford. The guard was a massive part of Atlanta\u2019s success the past few years\u2014he was chosen as the league\u2019s best sixth man in 2009-10\u2014but he just hasn\u2019t delivered the goods. Crawford is averaging just 13.7 points per game, way down from 18.0 a year ago. \"Online<\/p>\n

He recently endured a horrific shooting spell, connecting on just 10 of his 31 field goal attempts over a four-game span. He\u2019s bounced back over the last two, going 12-23, but it\u2019s no surprise that Atlanta is struggling to score as a result. Thursday\u2019s win over the Wizards ended a three-game run in which the Hawks averaged just 90 points per night.<\/p>\n

The Knicks (8-8, 10-5-1 ATS) are at the other end of the spectrum. New York has ploughed its way to five straight wins, plus a sparkling 6-0 run against the spread.<\/p>\n

They topped Charlotte 99-95 on Wednesday, and it was the first time in six games the club managed fewer than 110 points. In fact, over the last six games, the Knicks are putting up nearly 115 points per game.<\/p>\n

Former Bobcat Raymond Felton has been brilliant for New York. He\u2019s posting career highs pretty much across the board, including 17.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. Felton is especially on fire over the last week or so, averaging 23.5 points and 10.0 assists over his last four starts.<\/p>\n

The news gets better for New York\u2014and much worse for Atlanta. The Knicks have won five of their past six games against the Hawks, including a 5-1 run against the spread. For whatever reason, these teams don\u2019t match up well, and it favors the Knicks. Until Atlanta barely treading water, it\u2019s hard not to like Raymond Felton and the New York Knicks.<\/p>\n
