If you are in need of a HOT fantasy football player these Top Hot players<\/strong> for the week should help you out if they\u2019re in your lineup. They may also be free agents on your waiver wire<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you need to dump a lame duck on your team, these NOTS should be them. Throw em in the trash if you can afford to not have them on your bench. Fantasy Football<\/strong><\/a> always favors the prepared mind. <\/p>\n

The more research you do, and the more HOT players you have to choose from on your team, the better your odds are of winning your fantasy football league outright this year.<\/p>\n

QBs<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark Sanchez – NY Jets \u2013 <\/strong>Sanchez is the Hottest QB in the NFL right now and can\u2019t seem to do any wrong. He had his best game as a pro last week and in his last 3 games is averaging 317 yards passing. He has tossed 6 touchdowns and three interceptions over that span.<\/p>\n

Philip Rivers \u2013\u00a0San Diego Chargers \u2013 <\/strong> Rivers is simply on fire and another shootout looms this week. In his last two games, Rivers has averaged 264 yards passing and he has thrown 8 touchdowns. He is Fantasy Gold!<\/p>\n

Matt Hasselbeck \u2013\u00a0Seattle Seahawks \u2013 <\/strong>Hasselbeck is playing his best football in a very long time. Although he has only thrown two touchdowns in his last two games, he has thrown for 699 yards and has been over a 105 QB rating in both.<\/p>\n

RBs<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maurice Jones-Drew \u2013\u00a0Jacksonville Jaguars \u2013 <\/strong> MJD has rushed for over 100 yards in his last three games \u2013 the first time he\u2019s put a streak together like that in his career. He also gained 87 yards through the air last week and 23 the week before. HOT!<\/p>\n

Fred Jackson \u2013\u00a0Buffalo Bills \u2013 <\/strong> Jackson has played superb ball since CJ Spiller went down with an injury. In his last two games, he has averaged 124 yards rushing and has scored 3 times. He also has 47 yards receiving in those games.<\/p>\n

Arian Foster \u2013 Houston Texans \u2013 <\/strong>Foster isn\u2019t running for insane yardage totals but he is converting when he gets the chance. In his last three games, Foster has 5 touchdowns. He also has 133 yards receiving in those three.<\/p>\n

WRs<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dwayne Bowe \u2013\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs \u2013 <\/strong> Bowe\u2019s numbers have been off the charts! In his last two games, he has averaged 148 yards receiving and he has scored 4 times \u2013 HOT!<\/p>\n

Mike Wallace \u2013\u00a0Pittsburgh Steelers \u2013 <\/strong> I am going to call him Mr. Wallace from now on. In his last three games, Mr. Wallace has averaged 121 yards per game and he has scored 4 touchdowns. Who needs Hines Ward?<\/p>\n

Santonio Holmes \u2013\u00a0NY Jets \u2013 <\/strong>Santonio has been the difference maker that the Jets Brass thought that he would be. In his last three games, Holmes has averaged 105.3 yards per game and has scored 3 touchdowns \u2013 2 in the last game.<\/p>\n

Greg Jennings \u2013\u00a0Green Bay Packers \u2013 <\/strong>Before his bye, Jennings caught 7 passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. After his bye, he had 152 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns. Jennings is on fire and is certainly worthy of the HOT list.<\/p>\n

Not Hot<\/strong><\/h3>\n

QBs<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jay Cutler \u2013\u00a0Chicago Bears \u2013 <\/strong> It is mind boggling to me that the Bears are 7-3. Against a banged up Dolphins team, Cutler passed for only 156 yards, zero touchdowns and 1 interception. He\u2019s brutal and certainly NOT HOT.<\/p>\n

Jason Campbell \u2013 <\/strong>Somehow, this guy is holding onto his job! Bruce Gradkowski \u2013 start warming up. After a good string of games, Campbell has been bad in his last two outings. He has averaged less than 150 yards passing in those two, has just one touchdown and 2 interceptions.<\/p>\n

RBs <\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Adrian Peterson \u2013\u00a0Minnesota Vikings \u2013 <\/strong> In AP\u2019s last three games, he has failed to gain more than 81 yards. He has been held off the score sheet in his last two. He appears to be just another officer on a sinking ship – NOT HOT!<\/p>\n

Jahvid Best \u2013\u00a0Detroit Lions \u2013 <\/strong> Best have been dealing with a boo-boo on his tootsie and now comes word that he may actually miss this week\u2019s game. He hasn\u2019t scored in his last four games and is averaging just 33 yards per game over that span.<\/p>\n

Marshawn Lynch \u2013\u00a0Seattle Seahawks \u2013 <\/strong> Welcome to the bench Mr. Lynch!! He has averaged just 30 yards rushing in his last four games and has scored only once over that span. He is as NOT HOT as they come.<\/p>\n

Miami RBs \u2013 <\/strong>12 yards rushing combined last week for Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown \u2013 embarrassing!<\/p>\n

WRs<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Percy Harvin \u2013\u00a0Minnesota Vikings \u2013 <\/strong> Harvin had a chance to become a Fantasy Stud but if last week\u2019s game is any indication of what he is capable of, he should remain NOT HOT. He had just 2 catches for 12 yards last week and with Sidney Rice back in the fold and with Brett Favre shot putting the ball, prospects of a turnaround is very slim.<\/p>\n

Steve Smith \u2013\u00a0Carolina Panthers \u2013 <\/strong> This one is kind of obvious but worth mentioning because I own him. In his last four games, Smith has 17 catches for 187 yards and zero touchdowns \u2013 such a shame!<\/p>\n

Randy Moss \u2013\u00a0Tennessee Titans \u2013 <\/strong> Hey Mr. Moss \u2013 being overpaid to be a decoy isn\u2019t such a bad this isn\u2019t it? At least you are not getting hit and getting your uniform dirty! 1 catch for 27 yards in two games combined is NOT HOT!<\/p>\n

Vernon Davis \u2013\u00a0San Francisco 49ers \u2013 <\/strong>Davis had a 1 catch, 3 yards outing against Tampa in Week 11 and he hasn\u2019t scored in his last three games. Come back Alex Smith, Troy is killing Vernon Davis!<\/p>\n
