WAIVER WIRE WEEK 12<\/h2>\n

This is our waiver wire pick-ups column. Dave B scours the free agent pools in fantasy land for the best available talent every week. Availability, of course, depends on the league. We\u2019re using 12 team, 15 roster spot leagues as the median, but we\u2019ll look for roster candidates for leagues of all shapes and sizes.<\/p>\n

It is only one more week until many of you enter your Fantasy playoffs. It is time to cut some dead weight and time to add some quality depth for the stretch run.<\/p>\n

There is some decent talent available on the Waiver Wire, so go ahead, take a shot on some of the lesser names and Good Luck in your Fantasy Playoffs & hAPPY THANKSGIVING!<\/p>\n

QBs<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Shaun Hill \u2013\u00a0Detroit Lions \u2013 <\/strong> Hill may already be gone but if not, it is time to grab him. He plays on a team that has no running game to speak of and he has averaged over 300 yards passing in his last two games. With weapons like Calvin Johnson, Nate Burleson and Brandon Pettigrew, what\u2019s not to like?<\/p>\n

Matt Hasselbeck \u2013\u00a0Seattle Seahawks \u2013 <\/strong> Ditto for Hasselbeck. He has no running game and in his last two games, he has passed for 699 yards and two touchdowns. Kansas City and Carolina are on the slate, so he should be OK for you.<\/p>\n

Jake Delhomme \u2013\u00a0Cleveland Browns \u2013 <\/strong>Colt McCoy was nicked on Sunday and his playing status for this week is not yet known. Check back and if you are desperate, I mean absolutely desperate, take a chance.<\/p>\n

Others to Monitor:<\/strong> Rusty Smith \u2013 Tennessee Titans, Bruce Gradkowski \u2013 Oakland Raiders<\/p>\n

RBs<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Benjarvus Green-Ellis \u2013\u00a0New England Patriots \u2013 <\/strong>BGE has become a huge part of the Pats offense and rightfully so. He ran the ball 21 times for 96 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 and has the Detroit Lions in Week 12.<\/p>\n

Maurice Morris \u2013\u00a0Detroit Lions \u2013 <\/strong> Jahvid Best\u2019s toe isn\u2019t getting any better and there is a chance that the Lions could shut him down. With Kevin Smith on IR, Morris is the only man left standing. \"Sports<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Keiland Williams \u2013\u00a0Washington Redskins \u2013 <\/strong> Portis returned on Sunday but that was short-lived. Williams has a solid all around game and should be good for up to 25 touches a game assuming Ryan Torrain doesn\u2019t come back.<\/p>\n

WRs<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mike Jenkins \u2013\u00a0Atlanta Falcons \u2013 <\/strong> Jenkins has flown under the radar for long enough. He hasn\u2019t been scoring but his time will come. He has 5 catches in each of his last two games and has averaged 53 yards over that span.<\/p>\n

Ben Obomanu \u2013\u00a0Seattle Seahawks \u2013 <\/strong> Obomanu has become a bigger part of the offense in the last two weeks and in his last two has caught 9 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown. Mike Williams can\u2019t catch every Matt Hasselbeck pass!<\/p>\n

Laurent Robinson \u2013\u00a0St. Louis Rams \u2013 <\/strong>He has been targeted no less than eight times in any of his last four games. Last Sunday, he was targeted 11 times. In PPR leagues, he could be very valuable.<\/p>\n

Others to Monitor \u2013<\/strong> Blair White \u2013 Indianapolis Colts<\/p>\n

TEs<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Kevin Boss \u2013\u00a0NY Giants \u2013 <\/strong>Hakeem Nicks joins Steve Smith on the sidelines with an injury, leaving Derek Hagan and Mario Manningham as Eli\u2019s WRs. Boss has re-emerged and could easily become Manning\u2019s most reliable target.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Graham \u2013\u00a0New Orleans Saints \u2013 <\/strong> Graham has taken over from Jeremy Shockey and has done a fine job. On Sunday, he had 8 targets, 5 catches and 73 yards. Brees will keep looking his way if he keeps on catching passes!<\/p>\n

Others to monitor \u2013<\/strong> Evan Moore \u2013 Cleveland Browns, Michael Hoomanawanui \u2013 St. Louis Rams<\/p>\n

Defense<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Cleveland Browns \u2013 <\/strong>The Browns have been playing decent ball – 2 interceptions, over 1 fumble recovery and over 2 sacks per game in their last three. In the next two weeks, they face Carolina and an inept Miami team.<\/p>\n
