Our man The Wiesguy has been deep in study and will provide his take and 2010\u00a0College Football Predictions<\/strong><\/a> all season long for the 2010\/11 college football betting season. <\/p>\n CLICK HERE TO VIEW OUR EXPERTS WEEKLY COLLEGE FOOTBALL PREDICTIONS —–><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Week 12:\u00a0\u00a0 College Football Line Preview<\/strong><\/p>\n Another week without a fantastic marquee game.\u00a0 Sure there is a lot at stake for the Buckeyes when they visit Iowa but the Hawkeyes recent struggles make that a pretty one-sided affair in terms of importance.\u00a0 Unfortunately that is the way things will be until the championship games early next month.<\/p>\n There are some very nice games this week, and over the next couple of week as well, but really we are looking at teams that are looking to crush the season of a rival more than anything else.<\/p>\n This makes for some dangerous wagering as you never know which teams, talented or not, can maintain high levels of motivation and preparation. when there is little to play for (see Georgia Tech last week).<\/p>\n At this time of year it is good to look at what teams traditionally finish strong or fade fast.\u00a0 But even those numbers can lead you astray, look at the way the Beavers have fallen, they are generally one of the better teams in the nation this time of year.<\/p>\n Wisconsin vs. Michigan (+5.5) – <\/strong>The Badgers are very close to a Rose Bowl bid.\u00a0 It is never easy to beat Big Blue at the Big House but the way that Wisconsin steamrolled Indiana last week leaves me little doubt they will win and easily.\u00a0 That Michigan defense isn\u2019t good enough to beat top teams yet.\u00a0 Maybe next year.<\/p>\n Stanford vs. California (+7)\u00a0 – <\/strong>The Bears are two different teams at home and on the road this season.\u00a0 At home they can hang with anybody (they almost beat Oregon last week) and they would love to beat their suddenly on top rivals in the Big Game.\u00a0 Despite what they showed last week I think Stanford will stomp them this week just to show they are the better team in the Bay.\u00a0 Would love for the line to come down but I think the Cardinal will win by double digits. <\/p>\n Virginia Tech vs. Miami (+2.5)\u00a0 – <\/strong>No one is talking about the Hurricanes but they are still good enough to beat the Hokies at home this weekend.\u00a0 The offense run by Stephen Morris was impressive last week and the defense gave up a ton of yards but very few points at Georgia Tech.\u00a0 I really like Miami in this spot especially if that line nudges up to a three spot.\u00a0 On another note, is an ACC team ever going to play for a championship? Ohio State vs. Iowa (+3) – <\/strong>Ohio State has the most difficult path of the remaining teams in the Big Ten race.\u00a0 Iowa should be nice and ornery after last week\u2019s loss to Northwestern but they have been just average for big chunks of the season.\u00a0 It is going to take more than that to beat the Buckeyes and I am not sure they will rise to the occasion.\u00a0 This one is hard to call.<\/p>\n Army vs. Notre Dame (-8) – <\/strong>I was blown away with Notre Dame last week.\u00a0 I thought Utah would be out for blood but instead it was the Irish who dominated.\u00a0 Oddly they may have a harder time with Army who is getting pretty good at running that option offense of their\u2019s.\u00a0 Navy wrang up more than 350 on the ground against Utah.\u00a0 This game is at Yankee Stadium and the crowd will be looking for a reason to believe in the cadets.<\/p>\n Arkansas vs. Mississippi State (+4) <\/strong>These teams may be out of the running in the SEC West but there is a lot to settle in terms of the pecking order in that division, which might be the best in America.\u00a0 Arkansas has a high powered attack while MSU prefers to grind it out.\u00a0 It will be a real battle to establish pace and should be a good game to watch.\u00a0 I think Arkansas can force the action and is great value with a short spread.<\/p>\n Houston vs. Southern Miss (-5) – <\/strong>Conference USA is another conference where there is still a lot to be decided.\u00a0 The winner of this one can stay in their divisional race for another week, while the loser is out.\u00a0 The Eagles are feeling great after an impressive road victory at UCF.\u00a0 No one in the conference is playing better than them right now.<\/p>\n Nebraska vs. Texas A&M (+3) <\/strong>– There is still lots to be played for in what has been a wacky season in the Big 12.\u00a0 Nebraska has cooled off lately but if QB sensation Taylor Martinez is well the Huskers could blow out the Aggies even though Ryan Tennehill has been amazing since taking over for Jerrod Johnson.\u00a0 Pick the team you think will win in this one as long as the spread stays where it is.\u00a0 For me that is NU.\u00a0 I am still having a hard time believing in the Aggies.<\/p>\n 1.
