NFL Week 9 Preview<\/strong><\/p>\n

We\u2019re over the halfway point of the 2010-11 NFL season as we enter Week 9, and with it comes some exciting games including a few divisional matchups. A lot of what has gone down has been nearly hard to predict. When the season began who would have thought that two of the weekend’s biggest games would be The Chiefs at Oakland or the Tampa Bay at Atlanta? <\/p>\n

Here I take a look at the NFL Betting<\/strong><\/a> matchups, giving you some early insight that will help make your 2010 NFL wagers winners. Teams with byes this week are Denver, Tennessee, St. Louis, San Francisco, Washington, and Jacksonville.<\/p>\n

LOOKING FOR NFL WEEK 9 ODDS? —–><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

SUN, NOV 7 TIME (ET)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tampa Bay at Atlanta 1:00 PM FOX \u2013<\/strong> Both teams are off to a good start and will be in search of an important NFC South division win in this one, as they look to put some separation between them and the defending champion New Orleans Saints. I like the Falcons in this one simply for the home field advantage by three-points.<\/p>\n

Chicago at Buffalo 1:00 PM FOX \u2013<\/strong> This game will be held north of the border in Toronto, ON., and for Canadians, they have probably seen better football from the CFL. While Cutler and the Bears have been mediocre, the Bills remain winless. However, Ryan Fitzpatrick has been crazy lately, so if the Bills defense can get to Cutler, I think the Bills can win this game. Buffalo wins it in Hogtown.<\/p>\n

New England at Cleveland 1:00 PM CBS \u2013<\/strong> The Pats look good and seem to be poised to make another legitimate run to the Super Bowl while the Browns, well, they\u2019re the Browns. I just don\u2019t see Cleveland\u2019s McCoy out dueling Brady in this one, even with home field advantage.<\/p>\n

NY Jets at Detroit 1:00 PM CBS \u2013 <\/strong>The Lions should be fired up after a double-digit win over the Redskins where Donovan McNabb was pulled from the game. How do the Jets get shut out 9-0? This is the kind of game New York cannot afford to lose if they are going to keep pace the Pats, who get an easy one in Cleveland, as they look to get back to their Super Bowl shuffle.<\/p>\n

New Orleans at Carolina 1:00 PM FOX \u2013<\/strong> The Saints got a momentum changer with its win over Pittsburgh on Sunday and will now get a gimme as they face the lowly Panthers. If the Saints can stop the Carolina run, they can\u2019t lose this one. However, the Panthers are capable of pulling off the upset, with the lucky break of having New Orleans at home rather than the Superdome.<\/p>\n

Miami at Baltimore 1:00 PM CBS<\/strong> \u2013 The Ravens looked uncharacteristic needing extra time to beat the lowly Bills, but Chad Henne isn’t Ryan Fitzpatrick. Despite the trickery and Tom Foolery of the Miami wildcat offense, the Ravens defense will be the difference. This will be a low-scoring ugly game with Baltimore coming out on top. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

San Diego at Houston 1:00 PM CBS<\/strong> \u2013 Two teams that at moments look unbeatable, and then turn around and look downright awful. Philip Rivers will lead his capable receiving corps against the Texans secondary that could come up short against the NFL\u2019s best passing game. Houston will need to work its ground game using it to control the clock keeping the Bolts offense off the field for extended periods. It will all come down to defense, in which the Chargers have the edge.<\/p>\n

Arizona at Minnesota 1:00 PM FOX<\/strong> \u2013While the Cardinals seem ready to put in a solid effort, the Vikings\u2019 knar is sinking quickly. The Minnesota secondary will be challenged by the likes of Steve Breaston and the super receiver Larry Fitzgerald, and combined with an aging quarterback and the recently departed Randy Moss, I think Minnesota will be too distracted to grab a win at the Homerdome.<\/p>\n

NY Giants at Seattle 4:05 PM FOX \u2013<\/strong> The Giants, winners of four straight, have come on strong and are probably one of the better, if not the best team in the NFC. Seattle was looking good, but then they got spanked by the Raiders. However, Qwest Field can be intimidating, but only as menacing, as the Seahawks team that takes the field. The Giants are for real in this one.<\/p>\n

Indianapolis at Philadelphia 4:15 PM CBS \u2013 <\/strong>Philly will be rested coming off its bye week, but even then, are they going to be able to shut down Peyton Manning? While it\u2019s highly unlikely the Eagles will disrupt the Colts\u2019 three-game winning streak, the game is going to come down to the Eagles defense. Indy shouldn\u2019t expect any brotherly love in this one, but should get the win.<\/p>\n

Kansas City at Oakland 4:15 PM CBS \u2013 <\/strong>Who would have thought that this would be the most anticipated game of the week. I had pretty much counted the Raiders out of anything but last place in the AFC West, and now they actually have a legitimate shot at the postseason. A win over the Chiefs could go a long way towards solidifying their chances The Chiefs edged out the Raiders at the Mac last season, so Oakland will want to take this one and even the score.<\/p>\n

Dallas at Green Bay 8:20 PM NBC<\/strong> \u2013 One may have thought this game may have been a preview for the NFC Championship game, but the Cowboys look like they’ve packed it in for the rest of the season. The Packers are finally enjoying a winning streak, and won’t let the Cowboys spoil it.<\/p>\n

MON, NOV 8 TIME (ET)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati 8:30 PM \u2013 <\/strong>The Bengals have been duped by the T.Ocho show, and the Steelers, well, they have been good enough to be tied with the Ravens for first in the conference, both with and without Roethlisberger. I\u2019m sure when the ESPN schedule makers made this a Monday Night Game they thought this would have AFC North Championship implications, well, they should have looked West. This a sleeper, as the Bengals beat themselves.<\/p>\n
