Idaho Vandals (4-3)<\/strong><\/p>\n

As much as Hawaii is known for its offense, Idaho can put points on the board in a hurry, too. The Vandals average 33 points and 431 total yards per game. They also have the country\u2019s No. 4 passing offense, averaging 338.8 yards per contest. Nathan Enderle has been a real gunslinger under center. He has more than 2,000-passing yards already with 16 touchdowns but his 10 picks show he doesn\u2019t always make the right throw. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n

He does, however, seem to be improving as the season progresses. In his last four starts, Enderle has 12 touchdown passes and just three interceptions. The Vandals are 4-3 largely because their defense is beatable. Idaho is particularly shaky against the run, allowing 167.3 yards per game and ranking 81st<\/sup> in the nation in that regard.<\/p>\n

Hawaii Warriors (6-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

You have to admit \u2013 these guys are pretty fun to watch. Hawaii\u2019s passing stats this season would make Case Keenum proud. The Warriors average a hilarious 400.8 passing yards per game, best in the country. Bryant Moniz has thrown for 2,921 yards and 22 touchdowns in eight games.<\/p>\n

Hawaii doesn\u2019t run the ball too well or too often but it doesn\u2019t really matter (though they Warriors were good on the ground against Utah State last week). The Warriors\u2019 defense is better than you might expect, ranking 37th<\/sup> in the country overall and 25th<\/sup> against the pass. It held Utah State to just 181 total yards and one third-down conversion on 12 tries during their 45-7 rout victory last week.<\/p>\n

The pick:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pick seems pretty straightforward here. Hawaii is 4-0 against the spread at home this season and has an explosive offense to accompany an underrated defense. I think it covers the 15.5 points without much trouble at all this week.<\/p>\n
