Buffalo<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Buffalo Bills may have the distinction of being the worst team in the NFL to this point in the season. The Bills have been bad on both sides of the ball, and they are still winless. The schedule has been quite difficult for them, and it doesn\u2019t get any easier this week.<\/p>\n

The Bills offense is ranked 30th<\/sup> out of 32 teams in the NFL in total offense. The running game is middle of the pack, but the passing attack has been poor. Ryan Fitzpatrick has done a good job not turning the ball over, but the Bills just can\u2019t get any kind of deep passing game going. Fred Jackson is now the featured back since Marshawn Lynch is gone. C.J. Spiller has gotten occasional playing time, and I would think he will see the field more as the season goes along.<\/p>\n

Though the Bills offense has been pretty bad, the defense has been even worse. Buffalo is allowing a staggering 32.2 points per game. They even gave up 36 points in their last game to an offensively-challenged Jaguars team. The Bills front seven has simply had a terrible year thus far. They rank 31st<\/sup> in the league in sacks, with only six sacks on the year. They are also getting dominated by the opponent\u2019s ground game on consistent basis.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

The front seven must improve for this defense to hold their own. \"Sports<\/a><\/p>\n

Baltimore<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Baltimore Ravens sit at 4-2, and they are in the thick of the AFC North race. The Ravens haven\u2019t hit on all cylinders yet, but they have definitely been improving over the last few weeks.<\/p>\n

The Baltimore offense started the season especially slow. Joe Flacco looked lost in the first couple games, but he has found a groove in the last four games. Flacco has thrown six touchdown passes and just one interception in the last four games. He seems to be getting acquainted with Anquan Boldin, and T.J. Housmandzadeh. Ray Rice has been a major in the passing game as well, but he is only averaging 3.9 yards per carry so far this year. Rice only has two touchdowns so far this season, which is definitely a surprise. This offense has room for improvement, but they have the talent to be very good.<\/p>\n

The Baltimore defense might get Ed Reed back this Sunday, and we all know he is extremely important to this team. Even with their injury troubles, this defense has been one of the best in the league so far this year. It all starts with a terrific front four, led by Haloti Ngata. Ngata already has four sacks in just six games, which is almost unheard of for a defensive tackle. Ray Lewis is getting older, but he is still delivering massive hits at the middle linebacker spot. The defense ranks third in the NFL in total defense, and they should improve quite a bit with a healthy Ed Reed.<\/p>\n

The Pick:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bills defense has been atrocious this year, and the Ravens are starting to get their act together offensively. I expect Ray Rice to have a breakout game here and I think the Ravens will roll to a big victory. I like the Ravens -13 in this one.<\/p>\n
