The only real measurable difference between the hulking Heavyweights is Velasquez is a far superior striker, with his legs and with his hands. However, Lesnar has a rare combination of speed, size and super human strength. Velasquez is good, but nobody is good enough to handle to bull rush of Lesnar. Oh ya, the Carwin fight taught us that Lesnar has great cardio and incredible chin as well. Pick:<\/strong> Brock Lesnar -125<\/p>\n Tito Ortiz (15-7-1): <\/strong>+130 Tito Ortiz actually coached Matt Hamill on the third season of The Ultimate Fighter. Hamill Is a stud wrestler that tends to go away from his major strengths while Tito is a chiseled veteran than can exploit anyone\u2019s weakness. Despite the fact that Ortiz hasn\u2019t won a fight since 2006, he still has all the tools to make life miserable for Hamill. Pick:<\/strong> Tito Ortiz +130<\/p>\n Jake Shields (25-4-1): <\/strong>-220 Jake Shields, by all accounts should be the next Welterweight champion. He has been successful everywhere that he has fought and is currently on a 14 fight win streak over five years. Kampmann is a good fighter but is far from the elite caliber necessary to compete with Shields. Pick:<\/strong> Jake Shields -220<\/p>\n Diego Sanchez (21-4): <\/strong>+100 Two men in desperate need of a win square off on Saturday night. Sanchez has suffered two straight losses while Thiago has himself been underwhelming. Both fighters are well rounded and both love to stand and strike. I will take the bigger psycho in this fight. Pick:<\/strong> Diego Sanchez +100<\/p>\n Brendan Schaub (6-1): <\/strong>+145 TUF 10 runner up Brendan Schaub takes a big step up in competition against former Title contender Gabriel Gonzaga. Schaub has looked great since the show, winning two fights in under two minutes combined while Gonzaga has been up and down recently. I will take Gonzaga\u2019s all around game to prevail in this one. Pick:<\/strong> Gabriel Gonzaga -175 Court McGee (11-1):<\/strong> -260 TUF 11 winner Court McGee steps into the Octagon for the first time since the show against an experienced, tough Ryan Jensen. McGee`s relentless pace and heavy hands may pose a problem for Jensen but the Jackson Submission Fighter will have an answer for all that McGee throws at him. Pick:<\/strong> Ryan Jensen +200<\/p>\n Patrick Cote (13-6): <\/strong>-160 TUF 8 alum Tom Lawlor steps into the Octagon with a fighter that once fought for the Middleweight championship, Patrick Cote. Cote is a good fighter that has had some bad luck inside the Octagon. Lawlor has three straight losses \u2013 make it four! Pick:<\/strong> Patrick Cote -160<\/p>\n Preliminary Card:<\/strong><\/p>\n Paul Taylor (10-5-1-1): <\/strong>+140 Two kick boxers meet in a potential Fight of the Night. Both men love to strike and both love to put on a good show. Paul Taylor is a natural Welterweight and has to cut weight for this fight \u2013\u00a0something he`s had trouble with in the past. The endurance edge belongs to Stout because of that. Guymon may have the heart but Roberts has the skills. Pick:<\/strong> Daniel Roberts -145<\/p>\n Chris Camozzi (13-3): <\/strong>+110 TUF 11 contestant Chris Camozzi takes on Korean newcomer Dong Yi Yang on Saturday night. Both are strikers with Yang holding the edge in that department (8 KOs in his MMA career). I like Camozzi\u2019s pace and the fact that he can use his great leg kicks to keep his distance from the dangerous Korean. Pick:<\/strong> Chris Camozzi +110<\/p>\n Jon Madsen (5-0): <\/strong>-260 Journeyman fighter Gilbert Yvel will fight for his UFC career on Saturday against Brock Lesnar training partner Jon Madsen. Yvel has been in the Octagon with some of the best but his gas tank is quickly emptying. Madsen must be a psycho to train with Lesnar \u2013\u00a0that\u2019s enough for me!
