Week 7:\u00a0College Football – Top Gambling Matchups<\/strong><\/p>\n

I admit it…I was shocked that South Carolina pulled it off last week.\u00a0 But not shocked that Penn State lost to Illinois.\u00a0 We are at that point of the season where we should no longer be too surprised, teams are what they are.\u00a0 South Carolina is pretty good, Texas and USC are pretty average and Oklahoma State might just be able to score enough beat the Sooners this year.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Not many big games this week.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

A week for favourites to show us why or get the heck out of the race.<\/p>\n

South Carolina vs. Kentucky (+5.5) <\/strong>OK Gamecocks you finally won a big one and things are setting up nicely for you.\u00a0 You can win the SEC East, beat Bama again (or maybe Auburn) and play for a BCS championship.\u00a0 Or you can struggle against the Wildcats.\u00a0 Which seems more likely?<\/p>\n

Texas vs. Nebraska (-9.5) <\/strong>Sorry Nebraska fans Texas\u2019 struggles mean this one is all on you.\u00a0 You have to win and big or else you aren\u2019t worthy of your ranking and the nastiness you have been spewing all summer.\u00a0 I haven\u2019t found it yet but would love to know the last time Texas was this big of an underdog.\u00a0 I have a feeling Major Applewhite might know. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

California vs. USC (-2.5) <\/strong>5 years ago these were the top two teams in the conference now this game means almost nothing.\u00a0 I know USC isn\u2019t \u201cUSC\u201d but as a short home favourite I like these guys a lot.\u00a0 Lets not forget that Stanford isn\u2019t a chump anymore.\u00a0 I would hit this one right away.<\/p>\n

Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech (-3) <\/strong>The Cowboys still remain among the unbeaten with one of the most lethal offenses in the game.\u00a0 Meanwhile Tech showed some grit in holding off Baylor this past weekend.\u00a0 Oklahoma State has covered 4 of last 5 and I like them here.\u00a0 Might want to grab them early.<\/p>\n

Iowa vs. Michigan (+3) <\/strong>Well the bloom is off the Michigan rose and it doesn\u2019t get any easier this week.\u00a0 Iowa is much better defensively than MSU which should scare Big Blue and Denard Robinson.\u00a0 He can get back in the Heisman race by finally beating somebody though.<\/p>\n

SMU vs. Navy (-2) <\/strong>I love backing Navy because their offense can be really tough to handle when you aren\u2019t ready for it.\u00a0 SMU isn\u2019t really ready for any kind of offense but they have the firepower to make it interesting.\u00a0 If you like Navy get them know, I think this one is going up.<\/p>\n

Ohio State vs. Wisconsin (+4) <\/strong>At least Ohio State will have to beat a couple of good teams to make it to the promised land.\u00a0 How are they going to handle being the new #1?\u00a0 Although I will be rooting for an upset, it doesn\u2019t seem likely for the Buckeyes this week.<\/p>\n

Arkansas vs. Auburn (-3.5)<\/strong> The SEC is wicked tough.\u00a0 Auburn struggled more than expected against Kentucky and now they get an Arkansas team that sees things as wide open after Bama\u2019s loss.\u00a0 This should definitely be a high scoring affair and great QB duel.\u00a0 I like Auburn even though they let me down last week.<\/p>\n

Nevada vs. Hawaii (+7) <\/strong>Lots of pressure on Nevada these days to stay perfect until they face Boise State.\u00a0 Its not easy to visit Hawaii and win, Nevada knows they have lost their last 5 on the island.\u00a0 Last game of the weekend just might see the most points scored but Nevada should cover easily.<\/p>\n
