Robinson has thrown for over 1,000 yards \u2013 at a remarkable 70% clip \u2013 with seven TDs to one interception.<\/p>\n

In addition to this clinic of efficiency, he\u2019s chipped in 905 rushing yards and an eye-popping eight majors. It\u2019s only Week 6! If the Wolverines\u2019 sophomore pivot keeps up even close to this pace, he should be the consensus Heisman winner this season. The Smurf Turf Southpaw (did I just make up that nickname?) is showing everyone how to pass effectively in 2010. The undersized junior leads his offense with a wizard\u2019s command, tossing for 1,069 yards at a 66% completion rate and an 11-1 ratio. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n

What Moore doesn\u2019t bring to the table compared to Robinson is the threat to scramble. Regardless, humble Boise has been a giant slayer for several seasons now, the last couple under Moore; it\u2019s high-time the Broncos get the credit they deserve, even in college football\u2019s individual awards.<\/p>\n

LaMichael James<\/strong>,\u00a0Oregon<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you could bottle lightning, you\u2019d be looking at it with the Ducks\u2019 sophomore. James has rushed for 712 yards and seven TDs through five games and is ripping big gainers off at a silly eight yards per rush.<\/p>\n

Oregon\u2019s offense has been video game-esque to this point, but James might have to work yet more inconceivable magic to leapfrog Robinson and Moore. At least you can say one thing for James: every time he leaves a Pac-10 secondary in the dust on the way to the promised land, special teams coaches NFL-wide start to salivate.<\/p>\n

Terrelle Pryor, Ohio State<\/strong><\/p>\n

In support of Pryor: some years ago OSU\u2019s Troy Smith won the Heisman, being not the best quarterback on the best team. If Pryor continues to lead an unbeaten Buckeyes squad in gutsy fashion, maybe history can repeat itself? Yet, similar candidates with better stats on Boise State and Alabama might have something to say about that.<\/p>\n

Mark Ingram, Alabama<\/strong> The reigning Heisman champ is such a horse, but he\u2019s coming off injuries and splits carries with other phenom Trent Richardson.<\/p>\n
