The Memphis Tigers out of Conference-USA take on the Louisville Cardinals from the Big East this upcoming Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. (ET) and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN3.com<\/p>\n

Memphis is off to a rough start this season with three lopsided losses in its first five games. The Tigers are 1-4 straight-up and 2-3 against the spread this season. They did manage to beat Middle Tennessee 24-17 at home and cover as a 6 \u00bd\u00a0 point favorite. They also covered as an 11 \u00bd point road underdog in a 16-13 loss to UTEP. Other than that, the Tigers have been beaten by an average of 35 points in their other three games. \"NFL<\/a><\/p>\n

The Tigers offense has been equally ineffective through the air as on the ground. They are averaging just 172.6 passing yards per game, ranking them 96th<\/sup> in the country. Their 113.8 average rushing yards per game rank them 95th<\/sup>. Even worse is their 15.6 points per game average which rank them 113th<\/sup> in the nation.<\/p>\n

Louisville opened the season with a 23-16 loss to Kentucky as a three point home underdog. The next week the Cardinals knocked off Eastern Kentucky 23-13, but came nowhere close to covering as a 30 point home favorite. They lost to then-No.24 Oregon State 35-28, but easily covered as 20 \u00bd\u00a0point road underdog. Last week they got their second win of the season with a 34-24 victory over Arkansas State as a 6 \u00bd point road favorite leaving them 2-2 both SU and ATS on the year.<\/p>\n

Offensively the Cardinals have been powered by their ground game which is averaging close to 200 yards per game. RB Bilal Powell leads the way with 485 yards on 73 carries. He is averaging 6.6 yards per run and has scored five TD\u2019s. QB Adam Froman has completed 71-of-123 attempts for 942 yards and five TD\u2019s, but has also thrown four interceptions on the year.<\/p>\n

Memphis is 1-9 SU in its last 10 games and 3-7 ATS.
\nThe Tigers are 0-6 SU and 2-4 ATS in their last six games on the road.

\nLouisville is 4-6 SU and 5-5 ATS in its last 10 games.
\nThe Cardinals are 3-2 SU in their last five home games but just 1-4 ATS.

The last time these two teams met was in 2008. Louisville came away with a 35-28 win on the road, covering as a 5 \u00bd\u00a0point favorite. The total went \u2018over\u2019\u00a0the 56 \u00bd\u00a0point line. The Cardinals are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 games against C-USA teams and are in prime position to make it 12 out of 13 against the out-manned Tigers.<\/p>\n
