Week 6:\u00a0College Football – Top Gambling Matchups<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last weekend had some real status setting games with Oregon\u2019s win over Stanford impressive enough to vault them over Boise State and TCU.\u00a0 This week\u2019s schedule is not nearly as engaging even though it may have the games of the year in both the Sun Belt and Mid-American conferences.\u00a0 This week starts on Tuesday with one of those games(Troy vs MTSU)\u00a0 so the wait for football after MNF will be a short one.<\/p>\n

Troy vs. Middle Tennessee State (-3)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t sleep on this Tuesday night contest.\u00a0 The winner in this one will be in the driver\u2019s seat in the Sun Belt but until I know for sure that Dwight Dasher will play I can\u2019t get behind the Blue Raiders – watch carefully.<\/p>\n

Baylor vs. Texas Tech (-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

This game could indicate a changing of the guard…at the bottom of the Big 12 South (until they rejig the format after losing Colorado and Nebraska).\u00a0 Tech got hammered by the Cyclones last week while Baylor killed the Jayhawks.\u00a0 Baylor hasn\u2019t beaten Tech in a long time but this just might be the year as Tech is reeling from an identity change with new coach Tommy Tuberville.<\/p>\n

Temple vs. Northern Illinois (-3)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The two best teams in the conference meet early on.\u00a0 Their last matchup Temple won by a point back in 2007.\u00a0 Regardless of the outcome it wouldn\u2019t be a surprise to see a rematch in the MAC Championship game.\u00a0 UNI is a strong play at home, especially with Owls leading rusher Bernard Pierce\u2019s status unknown.<\/p>\n

Alabama vs. South Carolina (+7.5)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Tide were truly impressive thumping Florida but they have to keep playing well to make it to the big prize.\u00a0 South Carolina seems to always be looking for an answer to something and right now it is who it their best QB.\u00a0 That is not a good question when you are playing the best team in the country.\u00a0 They have revenge in this one but it won\u2019t be enough. \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Michigan State vs. Michigan (-4)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Spartans have won the last two in the series but this is the biggest game these two have played in a while.\u00a0 Both teams are undefeated with MSU the more impressive last week.\u00a0 Being at home is a huge advantage for Big Blue and that Denard Robinson guy is pretty good.\u00a0 They are tough to bet against in this spot but if the line sneaks higher the Spartans might be a good cover play.<\/p>\n

Clemson vs. North Corolina (-1.5)<\/strong><\/p>\n

I bet against UNC last week and they burned me.\u00a0 It is still unclear when they will get their full compliment of star players back but it is clear that they are a pretty good team with or without them.\u00a0 Clemson is tough but is coming off two difficult losses.\u00a0 Can they get off the mat on the road.\u00a0 I don\u2019t like their chances.\u00a0 Take the Tar Heels.<\/p>\n

Arkansas vs. Texas A&M (+7.5)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Aggies have found themselves another shootout partner.\u00a0 This time they are home and looking to avenge last year\u2019s shellacking at the hands of the Razorbacks.\u00a0 Arkansas will have had two weeks to get over blowing it against Alabama which I think should be enough, especially given how willing A&M is to give up points.<\/p>\n

Oregon State vs. Arizona (-8)<\/strong><\/p>\n

This could be Arizona\u2019s big year.\u00a0 They almost blew it against Cal but escaped meaning they just might have some destiny working for them.\u00a0 This should be their toughest game of the month and they are rested coming off the bye.\u00a0 The Beavers won\u2019t quit…but they won\u2019t beat them either.\u00a0 Don\u2019t bet it at -8, just enjoy an intense game that will be much closer.<\/p>\n

LSU vs. Florida (-7)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Could be a game or it could be really ugly.\u00a0 Either way whoever wins will be considered a pretty good team, even if it is much maligned LSU.\u00a0 This game seems to have a lot of questions?\u00a0 Can the Gators lose two in a row?\u00a0 Is LSU\u2019s defense really that good?\u00a0 Are both of these teams just products of the SEC hype machine?\u00a0 I hope we will get some answers.<\/p>\n

USC vs. Stanford (-8)<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a critical game for both teams.\u00a0 If Stanford wants to prove it is elite than it needs to bounce back and win at home.\u00a0 If USC wants to prove it is still elite than it needs to have a signature victory to start the Lane Kiffin era.\u00a0 Another loss and the Cardinal are pretty much out of it this year while USC has plenty of excuses.\u00a0 Can you tell who has more pressure on them?<\/p>\n

Florida State vs. Miami (-6)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe it is time for this rivalry to start meaning something again.\u00a0 Miami is a nice play as a home favourite as long as it stays under 7 points.\u00a0 Any more than that and the Seminoles are the way to go.\u00a0 To get the juices going in this rivalry again it would be nice to see a rematch in the ACC championship game.<\/p>\n
