Cleveland<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s just the beginning of the season, but it appears Browns fans are in for another long year. Cleveland has faced two teams that they could have beaten, and they have lost a fourth quarter lead in both games. Now Cleveland must travel to face the hated Baltimore Ravens.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland offense will probably be without Jake Delhomme once again on Sunday. Seneca Wallace is the expected starter at quarterback. It isn\u2019t just Delhomme who is injured though, as Cleveland will probably be without Jerome Harrison and Montario Hardesty is out for the season. This is an offense that was already short on weapons and now they are dealing with some serious injury problems. They need to get Joshua Cribbs involved as much as possible because he is definitely their most dynamic player.<\/p>\n

The Browns defense has done fairly well in the first couple games, but they have played two pretty poor offenses. The game this Sunday against Baltimore will be a much bigger test for the Browns defense. The Browns are strong in the secondary, but their front seven aren\u2019t as good as most in the NFL right now. <\/p>\n

The Ravens will likely try to run the ball early and often in this one, so the Browns better be up to the challenge. \"Sports<\/a><\/p>\n

Baltimore<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ravens started out with a big win over the Jets on Monday Night Football, but last week\u2019s loss at Cincinnati was pretty painful. Four interceptions thrown by Joe Flacco pretty much sealed the Ravens fate in that game. You can bet that Baltimore will be trying its best to get back on track against an inferior opponent like the Browns.<\/p>\n

The Ravens offense has far more firepower this year, but they just haven\u2019t put it all together yet. Anquan Boldin should be a big play guy on the outside for Joe Flacco, but it might take some time for them to get in rhythm. Ray Rice is one of the best running backs in the league and the Ravens need to keep getting him the football as often as possible. In last week\u2019s loss to the Bengals, Rice had 87 yards, but only had 16 carries the entire game. The line is solid and the play makers are here, so in the long run I expect this to be a very good offense.<\/p>\n

The Baltimore Ravens defense is a little dinged up right now, but they are still one of the best in the NFL. Haloti Ngata, Kelly Gregg, and Terrell Suggs are the anchors of a strong defensive line. Ray Lewis may be getting older, but he is still a terrific linebacker that will disrupt a lot of plays. Ed Reed is out until week seven and Dominique Foxworth is out for the season, so the Ravens are lacking a little bit in the secondary right now. Baltimore will be counting on getting a solid pass rush to keep the pressure off an inexperienced secondary.<\/p>\n

The Pick<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ravens haven\u2019t played up to their potential on offense this year, but I think they will look a lot better against this Cleveland defense. Even though 11 points is quite a bit to lay on a team in the NFL, I do think the Ravens will win by more than 11 in this one. Take the Ravens here.<\/p>\n
